Base Class: Monk
Monks following the Way of the Grarpler are expert grapplers, capable of subduing opponents and limiting their ability to strike back. While exceptionally dangerous when grappling an opponent they are limited in other aspects of combat and ranges of combat. Despite only being able effectively attack one opponent that opponent will vastly limited in their effect on anything but the Monk.
Grappling Expertise
Use the Acrobatics skill for Grapple and add proficiency bonus(d20 + Acrobatics + Proficiency) when attempting to grapple. After a successful grapple the Monk can spend 1 Ki point to Throw the target as a bonus action dealing 1d6 and pinning the target on a successful attack restrain them. Using Throw does not break grapple like Shove
Clinch Fighting
When grappling or restraining a creature gain improved critical, critically strike on 19-20, against the grappled target. As a Reaction the player can spend a Ki point to impose disadvantage on an attack from the grappled target. Additionally the grappled creature cannot attempt a (ranged)weapon attack on any target.
Submission Grappling
Spend 3 Ki points to Preform a Submission adding Throw dice to an Attack this turn. Additionally the grappled target cannot cast spells with a somatic casting component.
Preeminent Grappler
Spend 4 Ki points per size to grapple above the size limitations. For every 4 Ki points spent this way add two die to the Throw dice for the grapple target. When Ki is spent this way ignore a creatures immunity to grapple and retained. After initiating the grapple 1 Ki point per size to maintain the grapple.
