Base Class: Barbarian
You have sold your soul to a demonic entity in exchange for power, wealth, or love. And in return you were cursed with a fiery rage and thirst for blood. Now you seek to quench that thirst every night, regardless if those you have slain deserve it or not. You have been appointed Rider and hellfire courses through your veins.
Rider's Steed
By taming a mount you can spend a long rest to conduct a ritual with it and appoint it your steed, allowing you to summon it as a bonus action while raging, teleporting it to your location if there is enough room for it. Making a mount your steed also allows it to benefit from Rider's Visage and Hellfire's Kiss, giving it a similar skeletal and fiery appearance while you're raging. You can only have one steed at a time.
As a bonus action you can choose to see or hear through your steeds senses, however while doing so you become blind or deaf respectively, as well as being able to psychically command your steed while within a 3 mile radius of each other and on the same plane of existence.
Stunning Stare
Beginning at 10th level, while raging you can use your action to stun someone with your skeletal stare. When you do so, choose one creature that you can see within 30 feet of you. If the creature can see you, it must succeed on a Wisdom saving throw (DC equal to 8 + your proficiency bonus + your Charisma modifier) or be stunned by you until the end of your next turn. On subsequent turns, you can use your action to extend the duration of this effect on the stunned creature until the end of your next turn. This effect ends if the creature ends its turn out of line of sight or more than 60 feet away from you.
If the creature succeeds on its saving throw, you can’t use this feature on that creature again for 24 hours.
Superior Steed
Your bond between you and your steed has grown to the point where you have become one, bolstering your steeds vitality and speed. Add half your speed and a quarter of your hp to that of your steed.
Rider's Visage
As you invoke your rage you are engulfed in hellfire, leaving only your skeleton visible within the flames. In this form you're resistant to fire and cold damage, as well as being able to set fire to anything you touch for 1d4 fire damage (lvl 3) 1d6 fire damage (lvl 6) 1d8 (lvl 10) 1d10 (lvl 15) and 1d12 (lvl 20).
However you can only use the Rider's Visage and Hellfire's Kiss while not in direct sunlight.
Will of Iron
Beginning at 6th level, you can’t be charmed ,poisoned or frightened while raging. If you are charmed, poisoned or frightened when you enter your rage, the effect is suspended for the duration of the rage.
Intimidating Presence
Beginning at 10th level, you can use your action to frighten someone with your menacing presence. When you do so, choose one creature that you can see within 30 feet of you. If the creature can see or hear you, it must succeed on a Wisdom saving throw (DC equal to 8 + your proficiency bonus + your Charisma modifier) or be frightened of you until the end of your next turn. On subsequent turns, you can use your action to extend the duration of this effect on the frightened creature until the end of your next turn. This effect ends if the creature ends its turn out of line of sight or more than 60 feet away from you.
If the creature succeeds on its saving throw, you can’t use this feature on that creature again for 24 hours.
Rage Beyond Death
Beginning at 14th level, the demonic power that fuels your rage allows you to shrug off fatal blows. While you’re raging, having 0 hit points doesn’t knock you unconscious. You still must make death saving throws, and you suffer the normal effects of taking damage while at 0 hit points. However, if you would die due to failing death saving throws, you don’t die until your rage ends, and you die then only if you still have 0 hit points.
