Wizard
Base Class: Wizard

A flash of scarlet and the singing of a blade, there is a tangiable smell of steel and smoke in the air as a warrior clad in red flies into the fray from behind the cleric. Her boots click delicately as her rapier flashes with singular, indefaticable purpose, cleaving through an orc. She snaps her fingers, calling a blast of fire from her hands and into the face of a nearby goblin. From under her wide brimmed feathered cap, she smirks, watching her graceful attack land home.

As she dispatches her mark, she twirles gracefully and poses, naked blade gleaming, scarlet cloaks and robes acting as a bull fighters cape, drawing the enemy to her steel.

Everyone wants to do something. Some people want to heal & help others, whether by magical or nonmagical means. Some wish to become great warriors, forging their names in battle & increasing their martial prowess. Some wish to become better magicians, learning new spells or having better control over powers they already have. Others wish to to become more skillful, learning new skills & becoming better at the skills they already have. But there are a rare few who wish to do everything at once. These skilled individuals are known as Red Mages. They are Jacks of all trades, but masters of none.

Clad in scarlet and wielding a dancing saber, these mages are swashbucklers as much as they are spell casters. though they push their proficiency in spell casting, they are somewhat limited in what they can do, as they must balance their stats between their dexterity based swordsmanship and intelligence based spell casting, and suffer from the low HP of a wizard.

Swordsmanship

When you adopt this tradition at 2nd level, you gain proficiency with light armor and Scimitars and Rapiers.

You also gain proficiency in the Performance skill if you don’t already have it.

Additionally, A red mage now has advantage on attack rolls for spells of these 3 elements.

Fey Footwork

Starting at level 10, a Red Mage can use Fey magic to cast Misty step twice per short rest.

Mass Cure
