Artificer
Base Class: Artificer

As an Elementalist, you have long sought to harness the power of the elements. Ever since the beginning, you have known that control over the elements would require extreme precision and concentration. Until recently you have been at a loss for a way to obtain such control, but you just made a breakthrough: the hand, an extremely precise organ with multiple times more sensory ability than any other area of the body. Aloting the required amount of sensory ability needed to control the elements. There's only one downside, in order to gain access to all those sensors means you had to disconnect them from your hand itself. But all innovation requires some sacrifice, right?

Tool Proficientcy

When you adopt this specialization at the 3rd level, you gain proficiency with Jewelers Tools. If you already have this proficiency, you gain proficiency with one other type of artisan’s tools of your choice.

Elementalist Spells

Starting at 3rd level, you always have certain spells prepared after you reach particular levels in this class, as shown in the Elementalists Spells table. These spells count as artificer spells for you, but they don’t count against the number of artificer spells you can prepare. The spells prepared are decided by your elemental affinity: Fire, Water, Earth, or Storm. You may choose your desired affinity to receive the indicated additional spells list.

After you have chosen an affinity, if you already have a spell from the list, you may switch it out for another spell of the same level.

Elemental Gauntlet

Beginning at the third level, you have created an augmented gauntlet replacing your hand that provides the following unique characteristics:

  • This creation replaces your arcane focus and has (1/2 artificer level + INT modifier) charges that reset when you take a long rest. You can use these charges to cast spells from your Elemental Spell List, instead of your spell slots, it costs 1 charge per spell level to cast a spell (3rd level spell costs 3, 7th level spell costs 7, etc).
  • No components are required for spells from your Elemental Spell List.

Elemental Symphony

Beginning at the 5th level, whenever you use your main action to make a spell attack, you may use your bonus action to make an additional spell attack as long as the spell is provided by your Elemental Spell List.

Note: a spell attack must be described specifically as a spell attack (Fireball doesn't count).

Elemental Ballad

Starting at the 9th level, you have mastered the ability to manipulate the natural weave by using your element as a transformer. As such you gain the following abilities:

  • Natures Deliverance. As a bonus action, you may sacrifice any level spell slot of level 2 or higher, to regenerate up to two spell slots of the next lowest spell level.
  • Natures Convergence. As a bonus action, you may sacrifice 2 spell slots of level 4 or lower, to regenerate up to one spell slot of the next highest level.

Elemental Melody

Starting at the 9th level, your ability to manipulate the natural weave is especially powerful with your own element. As such, you may use your reaction to grant yourself or any creature within 30ft resistance to your chosen element (Fire-Fire, Water-Cold, Earth-Bludgeoning, and Storm-Lightning) until the beginning of your next turn.

Elemental Maestro

Beginning at the 15th level, you have discovered a way to power your gauntlet using your own blood. As an action,  you may sacrifice a number of HP equal to your Artificer Level. If you do, you regenerate up to (½ Artificer Level) charges for your Elemental Gauntlet.
