Cleric
Base Class: Cleric

Though oft forgotten, there was a time when kings and demagogues hid away their cheese, and its latent power was well known. When the Gods, Devils, and Demons that knew of the way of the Cheese retreated to their own abodes, that knowledge began to be lost. Now the agents of Cheese rise up once again to remind the multiverse of what once was. The Lactose Intolerant will feel the sting and the Aberrations will tremble and wonder in stupefied horror, while the average folks look on in confusion and disbelief.

Cheese Domain Spells

As with all Clerical Domains you gain additional Spells from your Domain. These Spells are always prepared and don't count against your number of spells you can have prepared.

Cleric Level Spells
1st Goodberry, Purify Food and Drink
3rd Enlarge/Reduce, Suggestion
5th Create Food and Water, Stinking Cloud
7th Fabricate, Stone Shape
9th Telekinesis, Wall of Stone

Cheesy Spellcraft

At 1st level, many of your spells may optionally include cheese in their effects or methods.

Any spell that affects, uses, or creates Stone, Earth, or Mud can also affect, use, or create Solid Cheese. Any spell that affects, uses, or creates Water or Ice can also affect, use or create Liquid Cheese. For instance, you can use the Stone Shape spell to shape solid cheese in the same way as you could stone. You can use cheese instead of another piece of food for any spell that uses food, such as for the Goodberry spell. Finally, your spells that produce a gas or cloud as part of that spell, you can make that cloud have cheese particles in it, such as with the Stinking Cloud spell.

You can also recognize if any creatures you can see is Lactose Intolerant as a Bonus Action. Any Lactose Intolerant creature you strike with any cheese, including from spells, must make a Constitution Save against your Spell Save DC or become Poisoned for 1 Minute.

Channel Divinity: The Power of Cheese

Starting at 2nd level, you can use your Channel Divinity to tap into the primal power of cheese. As an action, you feed yourself or a willing creature within reach a small piece of blessed cheese. For 1 Minute, the target gains Advantage on Strength and Constitution Attack Rolls, Checks, and Saves.

Soul of Cream Cheese

Starting at 6th level, your connection to the power of cheese starts to affect you physically, granting you the following:

  • You gain Advantage on Checks and Saves to escape from Grapples, Crawl or Slide into or out of tight places, and to maintain Balance.
  • You have Resistance to Bludgeoning Damage.
  • When you target a creature that is Lactose Intolerance and also Immune to the Poisoned condition with cheese (whether through a cheesy spellcraft or otherwise) - you gain Advantage to Attack Rolls against that target and that target has Disadvantage on Saving Throws against your cheese assault.

Appenzeller Adornments

Starting at 8th level, any cheese that you cast Stone Shape on, and turn into the form of a piece of Armor or Weapon, that you have Proficiency with, you may use as Magical Equipment. When you gain this Feature, Equipment created out of cheese using the Stone Shape Spell counts as a +1 Armor, +1 Ammunition, +1 Shield, or +1 Weapon based on its form. At 13th level this increases to +2 and at 17th level this increases to +3. Equipment created this way only functions for you, or another Cheese Domain Cleric. Based on what rulings your DM makes, you may have to cast Stone Shape multiple times on multiple pieces of cheese in order to create the desired piece of Equipment.

In addition, cheese that you form with either the Fabricate or the Stone Shape spell is as tough as stone and can withstand the same damage as something of that form made out of stone.

Hirtenkäsestrum

At 17th level, as an Action, you can summon a storm of cheese around you. You gain a +2 Bonus to your Armor Class. Any Creature that comes within 10 Feet of you must make a Dexterity Save against your Spell Save DC or take 2d8 Bludgeoning Damage and be pushed back 5 Feet away from you. While this feature is active you may shoot out one of these pieces of cheese at an enemy as an Action. You make a spell attack against a creature within 60 feet, if it hits you deal 2d8 Bludgeoning Damage.

This feature lasts for 10 Turns or until you willingly end it using a Bonus Action. After using this feature you must take a Short Rest before using it again.
