Base Class: Ranger
While a fighter hones their mastery over every weapon they can get their hands on, a Monster Hunter hones their mastery over every creature and terrain they comes across. They will hunt down any quarry no matter they try to hide.
Hunters Expertise
When you hit a creature with an attack, you may spend a bonus action to do 1 of the following effects:
Exploit Opening: The next attack made by you or an ally has advantage.
Exploit Weak Spot: The next attack made by you or an ally deal extra damage. The damage type is the same as the attack being made.
Exploit Attack: The next attack made by the target has disadvantage
You can do this a number of times equal to {{2+Modifier:wis#unsigned}} per short rest
Favored Terrain Advantage
Whether you lured the creature into a thorny bush, Agitated the hornets nest a few feet away from your enemy or collapsed part of the dungeon that you notice was weak onto their heads, you have learned to use your favored terrain to its every advantage. If you are fighting in one of your favored terrains, at the start of combat you may give 1 creature of your choice one of the following conditions. At the end of its turn it may try to break free of the condition by making a Constitution Saving Throw vs your Spell DC. You may use this feature once per long rest. At higher levels you gain access to more uses. At 7th level you gain 3 uses and 15th level you gain 5 uses. It is the DMs discretion whether or not the conditions apply in every situation.
Blinded, Deafened, Poisoned, Prone, or Restrained
