Monk
Base Class: Monk

Monks of the Way of the Fist have trained their entire lives to perfect their form and toughness.

Powerful Punches

When you take this tradition you can use your Strength modifier in place of your Dexterity modifier for your Unarmoured Defence feature.

Starting when you choose this tradition at 3rd level,  Whenever you hit a creature with one of your unarmed strikes attacks, you can impose one of the following effects on that target:

  • It must succeed on a Dexterity saving throw or be knocked prone.
  • It must make a Strength saving throw. If it fails, you can push it up to 15 feet away from you.
  • It can’t take reactions until the end of your next turn.

Fists of Steel

Starting at level 6, your unarmed attacks become even deadlier. They deal 1d8 damage. This increases to 1d12 at level 11, and 2d12 at level 17. You can now add double your proficiency bonus and your Strength mod (or dexterity mod whichever you use to attack) to your unarmed damage rolls.

Lunge

Starting at 6th level, you may use your action and spend 2 Ki to perform a lunging attack. You may move up to your movement speed, and if you end your movement next to another creature you can perform your attack action as normal against them.

This movement does not provoke opportunity attacks.

Against the Odds

At level 17 When there are three or more enemies within 45 feet around you you gain +2 to hit on your unarmed attacks and rolls against you don't have advantage unless it is because of a condition.
