Soul Bag
Soul Bag: During your sleep, you've crafted a bad made out of human skin. You're not sure where the skin came from and do not recall making the bag. The bag disguises itself as a normal bag of holding. Only someone with Truesight can see the Soul Bag for what it actually is.
In addition to the properties of a bag of holding, the Soul Bag can also hold portions of creatures' souls. Whenever a creature with a soul drops to zero, the Coven Born may use her reaction to put a small portion of that creatures soul into her bag. The Coven Born may perform this reaction a number of times equal to her charisma modifier per short rest. The Soul Bag can only ever hold a maximum number of souls equal to your Charisma Modifier.
The small portions of souls within the Soul Bag can be used for a number of different purposes.
Steal Life. As a bonus action, the Coven Born may use one of the souls in her Soul Bag to restore hit points to herself or a creature she touches. The die she rolls is equal to her Soul Die.
Borrow Experience. As a reaction, the Coven Born may use one of the souls in her Soul Bag to add her Soul Die to one of her attack rolls, ability checks, or saving throws.
Soul Die. At 1st, your soul die is 1d4. At 5th it becomes 1d6. At 10th, it becomes 1d8. At 15th, it becomes 1d10.
Improved Soul Bag
You've been busy in your sleep. Once more you wake up to the work your unconscious hands have done improving your Soul Bag. Your Improved Soul Bag has two new functions: Query Soul and Soul Conversion.
Query Soul. You may use an action to force one of souls you have trapped since your last short rest to ask it a question. The communication between you and the soul is done telepathically, and you understand it perfectly even if you don't speak the language. The soul can only provide information it knows, but it is compelled to be truthful. Though it may speak cryptically. This uses up the soul.
Soul Conversion. At the end of a short rest, the Coven Born may convert any number of souls that remain in their Soul Bag into sorcery points. These points may not go over the Coven Born's maximum.
Maddening Tongue
Maddening Tongue. As an action, you reveal a piece of information so cryptic and terrifying that a creature of your choice that is within 60 feet of you and able to hear you must succeed on a Wisdom saving throw against your spell save modifier or be frightened of you for 1 minute. While frightened in this way, a creature is incapacitated, can’t understand what others say, can’t read, and speaks only in gibberish. A creature can repeat the saving throw at the end of each of its turns, ending the effect on itself on a success.
You may perform this action once per long rest.
Heart Stone
You've learned how to take out a portion of your own soul and store it within a calcified heart. Doing so makes you immune to disease and poison.
Improved Heart Stone
Binding the Heart Stone even closer to your soul, you've learned how to use it to enter the Ethereal Plane.
Using 6 sorcery points, as an action you may cast the spell Ethereal on yourself.
Nightmare Haunting
Nightmare Haunting: You can use your action to touch an incapacitated humanoid and cast the Geas spell. You may use this attack when you are on the Ethereal Plane. You may use this attack once per short or long rest.
