Base Class: Paladin
Aspirants are Paladins who are warriors without peer. If a Aspirant wishes to prove himself worthy of a place amongst his Chapter, bravery and skill are not enough -- he must complete a series of quests to establish his character and cause.
Given the perilous nature of these quests, it is little wonder that only the boldest Aspirants become Paladins. Nevertheless, it is almost unheard of for an Aspirant to the rank to abandon his quests, as to do so is to incur grave dishonour. Whilst the cost of pursuing the Paladin's quests is high, it ensures that nowhere in the World can so noble an assemblage of warriors be found.
A light against the darkness, the Aspirants stand against the greatest threat the world has ever faced. They are the champions of reason, order and righteousness, holding back daemons and the scions of the Dark Gods.
Channel Divinity
When you take this oath at 3rd level, you gain the following two Channel Divinity options.
Arcane Sight. - As a bonus action, you can choose to imbue your sight with the gift of the arcane. Doing so increases your vision in such that your character gains darkvision to a range of 60 ft. If you already have darkvision from your race, its range increases by 30 feet. Additionally to the range of your darkvision you can see the weave around spells and objects granting vision of the magic imbued in these things. This functions as a lesser version of the detect magic spell as you do not know what school of magic it is just that it exists. You also gain Advantage on checks made with the Arcana, Religion, and History skills.
Aegis of the Aspirant. As a bonus action, you can utter a word of protection. For 1 minute, you gain a bonus to your AC equal to half your Charisma modifier (rounded down). This effect ends early if you die or if you are incapacitated.

As a Bonus Action the paladin can choose a single target within aura range not currently effected by the ward to apply the full ward to. Taking this posture requires the use of a shield. This also reduces your movement speed by half.
- Aspirants Ward. This creates a Ward on Friendly creatures within the aura range of the paladin equal to twice your charisma modifier + your paladin level. This effect ends if the creatures leaves the range of the aura or if the paladin falls unconscious.
