Base Class: Bard
TBD
Natural Musing
When you join the College of Folklore at 3rd level, you become deeply connected to nature, the Feywild, and the legends surrounding them. When your Spellcasting feature lets you learn a bard cantrip or a bard spell of 1st level or higher, you can choose the new spell from the druid spell list or the bard spell list. You must otherwise obey all the restrictions for selecting the spell, and it becomes a bard spell for you.
In addition, you gain the Druidcraft cantrip and can perform the following additional tasks with it:
- You cause water you can see that fits in a 5-foot cube to form into simple shapes and animate at your direction. This change lasts for 1 hour.
- You cause shapes, colors, or both to appear on dirt or stone that fits in a 5-foot cube, spelling out words, creating images, or shaping patterns. The changes last for 1 hour.
- You can cause harmless tremors in the ground for 1 minute.
Primal Attunement
Starting at 3rd level, you can spend 1 hour during a long rest to immerse a friendly creature into a legend about the making of the realm, attuning them to the spirits you channel through your work as a bard. Until you use this feature again, the attuned creature also gains a d4 Bardic Inspiration die whenever you use your Bardic Inspiration feature on another ally.
The die becomes a d6 at 10th level.
Conjure Kindred Spirits
Beginning at 6th level, you may empower your voice to resonate into the Feywild, temporarily enlisting aid in battle. You can cast Conjure Animals without expending a spell slot. The duration is increased to 3 hours and the spell no longer requires concentration, but you can only summon two beasts of challenge rating ½ or lower.
The maximum challenge rating of summoned beasts increases to 1 at 12th level and 2 at 18th level. Once you use this feature, you cannot use it again until you finish a long rest.
Ritual of Passing
At 14th level, you can spend an action to perform mystifying, ritualistic chants as per a long forgotten tradition. The ritual returns the spirit of one of your conjured Kindred Spirits to the Feywild, causing the beast to disappear and granting yourself and up to 3 other friendly creatures that can hear you a Bardic Inspiration die.
When you use this feature, you do not grant an additional Bardic Inspiration die to the creature attuned through Primal Attunement.
