Base Class: Monk
If ki is energy and energy is in all things, then a connection to ki is a connection to everything. Such is the basic premise of the monks of Gront Sho pass better known as mind blades. Through research into these connections they have discovered some mystical spell like abilities and how to use gems and crystals to focus raw power by making blades of light.
Psionic Arts
Starting when you choose this tradition at 3rd level, you can use your ki to duplicate the effects of certain spells. As an action, you can spend 2 ki points to cast jump, detect thoughts, Suggestion, without providing material components. Additionally, you gain the mage hand cantrip if you don’t already know it. The hand created is invisible.
Agile Parry
Agile Parry. If you make an unarmed strike as part of the Attack action on your turn and are holding a monk weapon, you can use it to defend yourself if it is a melee weapon. You gain a +2 bonus to AC until the start of your next turn, while the weapon is in your hand and you aren’t incapacitated.
Ki Blade
Ki Blade
You can create a special radiant weapon that is powered by Ki. You create the handle from from metals gems and crystals worth 500 gold pieces over a 24 hours ritual. The blade or blades are produced as a free action by any being that has a Ki score and is holding the handle. You are proficient with it and it is a monk weapon with the light, finesse, and versatile properties. The blade's damage is radiant and the same die as the wielder's unarmed damage unless wielded two handed then the die increases by one. This weapon counts as magical for the purpose of overcoming resistance and immunity to nonmagical attacks and damage. The blade produces bright light for 10 feet and dim light for 10 more feet. The blades intense energy does double damage to objects and constructs.
Blade disappears, leaving the handle, if it is more than 5 feet away from you for 1 minute or more. It also disappears if the handle is destroyed, if you dismiss the blade (no action required), or if you die.
You can transform one magic melee weapon into your radiant weapon by performing a special ritual while you hold the weapon and 500 gold of gems or crystals. You perform the ritual over the course of 1 hour, which can be done during a short rest. This destroys the weapon leaving only the handle which keeps the magical properties determined by the GM if possible( ie.. bonuses to hit or damage, additional damage types, special properties) in addition to its new Ki properties. You can’t affect an artifact, legendary or a sentient weapon in this way.
Deft Strike
Deft Strike. Powered by ki you can channel energy more through your weapon. When you hit a target with a Ki blade, you can spend 1 ki point to cause the weapon to deal extra damage to the target equal to your Martial Arts die. You can use this feature only once on each of your turns.
Thought Shield
By 11th level, you have mastered your own mind. Your thoughts can’t be read by telepathy or other means unless you allow it. You also have resistance to psychic damage, and whenever a creature deals psychic damage to you, that creature takes the same amount of damage that you do.

By understanding the underlying connections in all things the mind blade monk can manipulate things at range by using athletics skill powered by wisdom instead of strength. The range is 30 feet.
Mental Carrying Capacity. Your carrying capacity is your Wisdom score multiplied by 30. This is the weight (in pounds) that you can carry, which is high enough that most characters don't usually have to worry about it.
Push, Drag, or Lift. You can push, drag, or lift a weight in pounds up to twice your carrying capacity (or 60 times your Wisdom score). While pushing or dragging weight in excess of your carrying capacity, your speed drops to 5 feet. This can be used for other special combat uses of athletics such as push, pull, grapple, disarm, break things ect. as determined by your GM
