Wizard
Base Class: Wizard
The School of Bureaucracy focuses on the details, processes and procedures of magic and its use. Naturally this means that the wizard tends to do routine things slower than other wizards. However, at the cost of spending more time preparing their spellcasting they gain different benefits from being well prepared.
Students of this school are not only skilled at magic, but also at maneuvering the complexities of government as well as businesses and contracts to such a point that even creatures such as devils, hags and djinn are hesitant to deal with them.

Rules Lawyer

At 2nd level, you have spent a lot of time pouring through legal documents, law books, spell books and overall been dedicated to your studies of magic being a highly precise and detailed art. As a result you gain proficiency in *deception*, *persuasion* and *insight* when at least one of the following conditions are true:
  • The conversation involves or pertains to contracts in some fashion.
  • The conversation includes at least one entitity which is well known to use contacts, e.g. djinn, devils, hags etc. (DM has final say as to what manner of creature qualifies.)
  • The conversation can be considered a business transaction, concerns magic or governmental processes.
In addition, if you and the other partie(s) share a language, and are conversing in said language, you may use your Intelligence modifier instead of your Charisma modifier, because you're employing a lot of legal and logical arguments to make your point.

Money or Time

At 2nd level, you have spend enough time parousing and writing legal as well as magical documents that you've picked up a few tricks for writing either more efficiently, or more economically. Whenever you copy a magical spell into your spellbook, you can choose to apply either Time or Money to the process:
Time
You reduce the time required to copy the spell into your spellbook by 50 %, whilst simultaneously increasing the gold cost by 25 %.
 Money
You reduce the cost of transcribing the spell into your spellbook by 25 %, whilst simultaneously increasing the time required by 50 %.

Secret is in the Details

At 6th level, you have become well acquainted with the intricacies of casting spells, to such a point that you've learned how to slightly bend the spell to your will. When you gain this feature you gain two of the following metamagic features from the Sorcerers Metamagic ability list, you can pick another one at 12th level.
If you cast a spell using your action and a bonus action, you may apply one of your chosen metamagics to the spell. You may only apply one metamagic per spellcasting.
You can use this feature a number of times equal to your Intelligence modifier (minimum of one time), regaining all expended uses after a long rest.
Careful Spell

When you cast a spell that forces other creatures to make a saving throw, you can protect some of those creatures from the spell’s full force. Choose a number of those creatures up to your Intelligence modifier (minimum of one creature). A chosen creature automatically succeeds on its saving throw against the spell.

Distant Spell

When you cast a spell that has a range of 5 feet or greater, you can double the range of the spell.

When you cast a spell that has a range of touch, you can make the range of the spell 30 feet.

Extend Spell

When you cast a spell that has a duration of 1 minute or longer, you can double its duration, to a maximum duration of 24 hours.

Subtle Spell

When you cast a spell, you can cast it without any somatic or verbal components.

Surprisingly Efficient

At 10th level, you have become very accustomed to casting rudimentary spells, so much so in fact that you can cast spells by reflex, without thinking, thereby surprising those who know you and are accustomed to your more meticulous and slow methodology for spells and magic in general.
When you gain this feature, choose three spells that you have in your spellbook or that you have prepared and are of 4th level or lower with a casting time of one action. You may choose and additional spell at levels 14 and 18.
You can cast these three spells as if they were affected my the metamagic Quickened Spell (turning the casting time from one action to one bonus action), provided you have a spell slot of equal or higher level and any required materials for the casting of the spell. You may not use the feature Secret is in the Details on these spells.
The spell you cast is always cast at its lowest possible level, even if you use a spell slot that is higher level.
You can cast spells in this way for a number of times equal to your Intelligence modifier (minimum of one time), regaining all expended uses after a long rest.

Ritual Secrets

At 14th level, you have experimented with the arcane energies, which powers your spells, that you are now capable of harnessing other types of magic, e.g. the divine magic of clerics and druids, in addition to that of arcane magic.
You gain the ability to learn ritual spells from other types of casters.
You can now transcribe any ritual spell into your spell book, even if it isn't on the wizard's spell list. With a few conditions:
  • In order to be able to transcribe the ritual into your spell book you must find a teacher who knows the ritual spell that you are attempting to transcribe, e.g. a druid if you want to learn a ritual spell from the druid's list.
  • The time required to transcribe spells from a different class is three hours per spell level, as opposed to only two hours. You cannot benefit from the bonuses granted by the Time or Money feature (unless the spell is on the wizard's spell list).
  • You can only cast these spells as a ritual and must follow all normal requirements for the casting of the spell.
