Base Class: Paladin
Many creatures across the world prey on the weak and common people of the land, these beasts are hunted down by professional hunters dedicated to the protection of the common-folk, some of these hunters take their duty seriously enough to take the Oath of the Scourge-Slayers; this group of Paladins hunt down beasts and monstrosities with a deadly finesse. While these Paladins are known to travel in groups, they more often travel alone as to hunt stealthily or to claim a higher claim of the reward from a hunt.
TENETS OF THE SCOURGE-SLAYERS
Hunt Without Mercy. Beasts and Monsters have no mercy, so you must show none.
Always Come Prepared. Never find yourself unarmed and unprepared, carry as many weapons as you can, and make sure they're sharp.
With Reaps Come Rewards. Hunt to protect others, but remember your duty should be rewarded.
Depend On Only Yourself. While allies are helpful, never let yourself rely on them more than you rely on yourself.
Channel Divinity
When you take this oath at 3rd level, you gain the following two Channel Divinity options.
Arteriole Slash. When you hit a melee weapon attack, you can use your Channel Divinity to cause the target to start bleeding violently. The target must succeed on a Constituion saving throw. If the creature fails then it takes damage equal to 1 + its Constitution modifier at the end of each of its turns for 1 minute. A creature may repeat this saving throw at the end of its turn, ending the effect on a success.
Taunt The Beastly. As an action, you present your holy symbol and shout a distasteful prayer towards all beasts and monstrosities, using your Channel Divinity. Each beast or monstrosity that can see or hear you within 30 feet of you must make a Wisdom saving throw. If the creature fails its saving throw, it is taunted for 1 minute or until it takes damage.
A taunted creature must spend its turns trying to move as close to you as it can, and it can’t willingly move to a space 30 feet away from you. It also can’t take reactions. For its action, it can use only the Dash action or try to escape from an effect that prevents it from moving. If the creature has you within its reach distance, the creature can use the Attack action against you only.
