Base Class: Ranger
The Hunters of the Fey wild are the perfect example of grace and skill that all young wood elves aspire to be.
Creating their own bows as a rite of passage, they carefully select the best trees from which to cut their bow staves and arrow shafts and then request the blessing of the spirit of the tree to stay with them in their hunts and guide their arrows.
When their enemy gets too close for the bow, the hunters draw their twin blades, created from the enchanted minerals and gemstones found only in the fey wild, and rain blow after blow upon their opponent, moving with such speed that the eye cannot follow each distinct cut and thrust.
Hunter’s Discipline
The training of the hunters means being prepared for both long and close range combat, starting at 3rd level you gain two benefits:
- You gain the Two-Weapon Fighting fighting style if you don't already have it.
-You may draw up to two weapons you're proficient with as additional free weapon interaction actions, so long as those weapons all share the finesse feature.
Uncanny accuracy
When you gain this ability at 3rd level you learn how to imbue your shots with the spirits of nature within your bow. Once per long rest you can ask the spirit to magically enhance one of your ranged attacks re rolling the attack on a missed hit.
Defensive Adaptability
At 7th level, you have gained the ability to adapt your defensive stance to the flow of combat.
Focused shots
While wielding your bow you have the uncanny ability to focus your mind in your archery. You gain proficiency in Wisdom saving throws. If you already have this proficiency, you instead gain proficiency in Intelligence or Charisma saving throws (your choice).
Twin blades Defense
When wielding your twin blades you gain +2 AC.
Multiattack
At 11th level, you gain one of the following features of your choice.
Volley
You can use your action to make a ranged attack against any number of creatures within 10 feet of a point you can see within your weapon’s range. You must have ammunition for each target, as normal, and you make a separate attack roll for each target.
Whirlwind Attack
You can use your action to make a melee attack against any number of creatures within 5 feet of you, with a separate attack roll for each target.
Leader of the Great Hunt
Starting at 15th level, your commands while hunting become second nature to your allies and they follow your instructions without hesitation. While you are above 0 hit points and within 60 feet range of your allies, they gain a bonus equal to your wisdom modifier to their attack rolls and saving throws.
