This tradition teaches the ferocity and elegance of metallic dragon kind. While this path teaches each student every unique martial form of the dragons, most students find one they prefer. Dragon Disciples seek glory in their walk of life. Warrior, diplomat, teacher whatever they choose they seek to do their best.

Dragon Fist Bolt

Starting when you choose this tradition at 3rd level, you can hurl searing bolts of draconic radiance. This energy, when manifested, takes the appearance of a dragon breath energy chosen by the monk each time.

You gain a new attack option that you can use with the Attack action. This special attack is a ranged spell attack with a range of 30 feet. You are proficient with it, and you add your Dexterity modifier to its attack and damage rolls. Its damage is radiant, and its damage die is a d4. This die changes as you gain monk levels, as shown in the Martial Arts column of the Monk tableWhen you take the Attack action on your turn and use this special attack as part of it, you can spend 1 ki point to make the special attack twice as a bonus action.

When you gain the Extra Attack feature, this special attack can be used for any of the attacks you make as part of the Attack action.

Dragon Essence

At 6th level, you learn to use your ki to invoke the awe and fear inspiring essence of the dragons. When you take this action, each creature within 30 feet of you that can see you must succeed on a Wisdom saving throw or be frightened of you until the end of your next turn. If a target succeeds against this ability they are immune to this ability for 24 hours

Dragon Form Mastery

At 11th level, you have mastered the fighting prowess of dragons. With blinding quickness and discerning intellect you can react in battle with precision and ferocity. You can take a number of additional reactions each round equal to your Intelligence modifier (minimum of 1), at the cost of 1 ki point per reaction beyond the first. You can only use one reaction per trigger.

Dragon Resolve

At 17th level, Dragon Disciples have reached the highest echelon of the draconic martial arts form. Through meditations and perfected martial disciplines they have achieved a dragon's resistance to baleful effects. Once per long rest when you fail a saving throw, you can use Legendary Resistance to automatically make the save.
