Rogue
Base Class: Rogue

Headstone. A seemingly inconspicuous village, with a dark secret. It's not just the Ancient Dragon buried under its surface, its the people. All of them are souls of the damned, people who did great good, great evil, and nothing in their lives, keeping the perfect balance of morals inside its town. As a minion of Death, it is now your job to maintain that balance in yourself, and in the world. You gain many new forms, but if you do too much good, or too much evil, the consequences are dire.

Second Form

You gain a second character sheet, with the skill points of a winter wolf, but only 15 hp. You can switch back and forth between this form and your original as often as you want, but turning into the werewolf form deals 5 damage to you.

This is treated as a separate character sheet, as it gains proficiencies and HP later on. Its current proficiencies are chosen by your DM.

Curse of Purgatory

You must try and balance how many guilty and how many innocent people you kill. For every innocent you kill, a small symbol appears on the white side of the wolf form, and for every guilty person you kill, a smaller symbol appears on the black side. If there are too many symbols appear on one side (Up to your DM's discretion) the following happens:

If you kill too many guilty people, you lose all levels in this class. If you use this to multiclass, all MOD levels are put into whatever other class you have the most levels in. If not, you turn completely into a Winter Wolf. You can choose to continue roleplaying as this beast, or else it runs into the wild.

If you kill too many innocent people, you turn all levels into MOD levels if you are multiclassing. If not, you lose all control of your character, and run off into the wild.

Embolstered Form

You gain +25 HP in your wolf form, +1 strength in your normal form, and +4 Charisma.

Life From Death

After every melee attack when in your wolf form, you do an extra d4 damage, which you absorb as Temp HP.

Free from Restraint

You no longer need to try and kill an equal number of good or bad people, as the curse of purgatory is released, but you keep the new form.

Adaptability

As you level up, your wolf form starts to shift to suit your desires. You can gain 4 proficiencies of your choice, and can reorganise all of your skill points - ie: You take your 17 points in strength, put 7 into wisdom, 7 into Intelligence, and keep 3 in strength. None of these stats can go over 25.

Acceptance of The Beast

  • You gain the same proficiencies in both forms if you choose.
  • You gain advantage on any check involved with other wolves and werewolves.
  • You can now switch forms as a reaction before getting attacked, doing damage to the form you turn into instead.
  • Your movement speed is increased by 15ft in each form.
