Base Class: Sorcerer
Your innate magic comes on the tides of war, manifesting in a lust for battle and the power to summon ethereal blades. Bladecallers often become veritable armies of one, raining down blades onto enemy lines. Oftentimes, a Bladecaller's swords can turn the tide of battles yet to even come. All are remembered as great warriors and heroes.
Blade Dancer
You are proficient in Longswords, and can use any weapon with which you are proficient as a Spellcasting Focus.
Blade Verse
Slashing Spell, Metamagic Option
When you roll for damage on a Spell, you can spend 2 Sorcery Points to create an ethereal sword within melee range of that creature which deals 1d8 + your charisma modifier in Slashing Damage to that target.
Coat of Arms
The surge of war magic coursing through you manifests as a rotating vortex of Ethereal Blades, clear as glass, which move with you.
You become surrounded by ethereal swords equal to your Sorcerer level. Your base walking speed increases by 10 feet. Your AC increases by the number of Swords surrounding you. If an attack is made against you and does not hit, two swords will disappear. If you make a weapon attack or spell attack which hits, you may expend one sword to add 1d8 Slashing damage to the damage of that attack. You may expend one sword to impose disadvantage on any attack made against you while Coat of Arms is active. This feature lasts for one minute, or until your final sword vanishes. When you use this feature, you cannot use it again until you finish a Long Rest.
Eternal Session
At 14th level, your mastery over the blades which surround you as your Coat of Arms has increased to such a degree that you can extend it to friendly creatures as well.
While your Coat of Arms is active, you gain a flying speed equal to your walking speed. When you come within 5 feet of a willing creature, you can choose to extend the features of your Coat of Arms to them as a Bonus Action. While Coat of Arms is active on two creatures, if one creature uses its movement on its turn, the other creature can choose to automatically move to a space 5 feet away.
Infinite Session
Beginning at 18th level, you can channel the raw strength of the weapons within you. You can use your Coat of Arms twice before needing to finish a Long rest. When you have no uses of Coat of Arms remaining, you can spend 6 Sorcery Points to summon your Coat of Arms with a maximum of 5 swords. This version of Coat of Arms is otherwise identical to your normal version, and can be used with Eternal Session.
