Base Class: Bard
You have spent much of your life sailing on ships, whether you were a sailor that picked up bardic magic to help with their journeys, or a bard that decided to test their skills out on the open ocean the seas call to you, and the art that they inspire is your favorite to perform. A storm singer bard excels at sea shanties, getting the other sailors to sing in a chorus to bring rhythm and entertainment to their work, and making the long hours away from shore feel like home.
World Traveler
Starting at 3rd level you have learned much from the many places you have traveled, and from the many different types of people you have seen. You gain proficiency in nature, history, and two languages of your choice.
Sailing Spells
Beginning at 3rd level you add the spells gust, shape water, fog cloud, gust of wind, and create or destroy water to your list of spells known, and count as bardic spells for you, but do not count against your known spells.
Ship Companion
Beginning at 3rd level you may cast the find familiar spell only as a ritual, and can only summon an octopus, or a parrot(same stats as a raven).
Sea Legs
Beginning at 3rd level you have advantage on saving throws that are caused by air and water, and on saving throws that would knock you prone, make you exhausted, or make you poisoned.
Shanty Singer
Beginning at 6th level you may use a reaction to replace an allies strength, constitution, or dexterity saving throw with a performance check you make when you use this ability. This ally must be within 30 feet of you.
Storm Caller
At 6th level, you add the spells call lightning, tidal wave, wall of water, and wind wall to your list of known spells. The chosen spells count as bard spells for you but don’t count against the number of bard spells you know.
Sea Breather
Beginning at 6th level you may cast water breathing as a ritual.
Master of Wind and Wave
Beginning at 14th level you add the spells control water, control winds, watery sphere, maelstrom, investiture of wind, and whirlwind to your list of known spells. These spells count as bard spells for you, but do not count against your spells known.
Commune with Open Ocean
Beginning at 14th level you may cast the Commune With Nature spell as a ritual. Its range is extended to 10 miles when it is cast out on the open ocean.
