Base Class: Monk
They are described as a "selfless, nurturing, spiritual group" or a "brainwashing nature cult", and involves itself in the establishment and maintenance of peace, life, and unity in Volcana.The territories held by the Green Scales are open and sunny, full of green spaces and gardens, with white stone buildings which are often open to the air. The Lyr tree saplings that serve as thier centers of worship are all said to be cuttings ftaken from a towering Lyr tree before the breaking of world, it is said it still exists highly protected in a secret Valley far to the west of the mountain range they monk circles call thier home.
Lyr arts
Starting when you choose this tradition at 3rd level, you can use your ki to duplicate the effects of certain spells. As an action, you can spend 2 ki points to cast blindness/deafness, Faerie fire, pass without trace, or charm person, without providing material components. Additionally, you gain the druidcraft cantrip if you don’t already know it.
Lyr Step
At 6th level, you gain the ability to step into one tree and out of another. When you are in physical contact with a tree, as a bonus action you can teleport up to 60 feet to an unoccupied space you can see that is also in dim light or darkness. You then have advantage on the first melee attack you make before the end of the turn.
Lyr Spores
By 11th level, you have formed a bond with the Lyr musk that suffuses the atmosphere of Volcana. A monk with this bond can use thier connection to the greenley to influence a 30-foot radius of spores extending from the monk. These spores can go around corners and affect only creatures with an Intelligence of 2 or higher that aren’t undead, constructs, or elementals. Affected creatures can communicate telepathically with one another while they are within 30 feet of each other. The effect lasts for 1 hour.
The Lyr Dream
At 17th level, you can exploit a creature’s momentary distraction when it is hit by an attack. Whenever a creature within 5 feet of you is hit by an attack made by a creature other than you, you can use your reaction to make a melee attack against that creature.
