Rogue
Base Class: Rogue

Draws on their innate connection with undead to aid in their fight against them.

Bonus Proficiencies

When you gain this class at 3rd level, you may add your proficiency bonus on top of any checks made to track, identify, or recall information about undead.

Additionally, you gain advantage on saving throws against charm effects from undead. (i.e. frightened, charmed, etc)

Undead Assassination

Starting at 3rd level, you are at your deadliest when you get the drop on your undead enemies. You have advantage on attack rolls against any undead creature that hasn’t taken a turn in combat yet. In addition, any hit you score against an undead creature that is surprised is a critical hit. Any creature that you hit in this way ignores any resistances to your attack.

Unnatural Resistance

Once per long rest, you can cause yourself to become resistant to all attacks by undead creatures for one minute. While this is active, you can use your reaction to absorb half of the damage you take from one attack and then channel that damage into your next melee attack or return it as health to an ally.

Charming Presence

You can use your bonus action to make a Charisma (Persuasion) check against an undead target's Wisdom (Insight) check. On a failed check, you gain advantage on your next attack against this creature and it has disadvantage on its next attack against you.

In addition, you can make a Wisdom (Insight) check against an undead target's Charisma (Deception) check immediately after succeeding on the above check. On a successful check, you may gain insight to two of the following stats on the creature.

-INT, WIS, CHA, DEX, STR, or CON score

-Resistances, immunities

-AC

-Remaining Hit Points

Death Strike

Starting at 17th level, you become a master of instant death. When you attack and hit an undead creature with a sneak attack, it must make a Constitution saving throw (DC 8 + your Dexterity modifier + your proficiency bonus). On a failed save, double the damage of your attack against the creature. When you use this ability on a creature that survives the attack, it becomes immune to being affected by this ability again for 24 hours.

Additionally, when you attack and hit a non-undead creature with a sneak attack, it must make the same Constitution saving throw. On a failed save, you have a modicum of control over the amount of damage you deal. You may reroll any 5/6s or 1/2s that you roll on damage, but you must do either all 1/2s or all 5/6s.
