Duelist

You focus less on hiding in the shadows and instead use your speed and precision to cut down your foes.

Formal Challenge

Your knowledge of formal challenges allows you to gain advantage on Charisma checks to challenge someone in a competition.

Fighting Style

At level 3, you gain a fighting style out of 3 options: Defense, Dueling, or Archery. This style gives added benefits at level 13.

Archery

You gain a +2 bonus to attack rolls you make with ranged weapons.

Defense

Your defensive dueling grants you defense. While you are wearing armor, you gain a +1 bonus to AC.

Dueling

When you are wielding a melee weapon in one hand and no other weapons, you gain a +2 bonus to damage rolls with that weapon.

Counter

At level 9 you gain the ability to counterattack. If you are attacked within melee range and the attack does not deal damage, you may make a weapon attack against the attacker as a reaction with a -5 penalty to hit for 1d8 + Dex damage. You are proficient in this attack.

Superior Style

At level 13, you have had enough practice with your signature style to increase your effectiveness with it.

Archery Improvement

Extra practice with your signature style increases your effectiveness with it. +1 to hit with ranged weapon attacks. Additionally, your quick reactions let you double your dexterity bonus to your initiative rolls.

Defense Improvement

Extra practice with your signature style increases your effectiveness with it. You gain +1 AC and proficiency in Medium Armor.

Dueling Improvement

Extra practice with your signature style increases your effectiveness with it. You gain +1 damage when wielding a single weapon in one hand. You also gain 10ft of movement thanks to your footwork practice.

Lightning-Fast Reflexes

At level 17, you can move so fast you strike with the power of lighting. When you hit an enemy with an attack that uses your Dexterity, you may choose to deal 2d8 lightning damage to the target in addition to the attack’s damage. Additionally, you can double your Dexterity bonus to hit with finesse or ranged weapons.
