Base Class: Fighter

Formation of a Tortoise

At 3rd level, you can use a bonus action to assume a defensive stance while wielding a shield. Your speed drops to 0, your AC increases by 1, ranged attacks are made at a disadvantage against yourself. That bonus will last until your next turn begins. If you've moved more than half your speed during the current round, you may not activate this feature.

Standard Carrier

Starting at level 7, on the battlefield, you are a beacon of courage, and your allies are emboldened to know that you are fighting beside them. You may shout encouraging words, wave a banner or standard, or let out a warcry, reminding your allies of what they are fighting for. When using your Second Wind, all conscious allies within 30 feet of you will be able to see you regain a number of hit points equal to half the amount of HP you are regaining. Both you and your allies regain additional hit points equal to your fighter level at level 15.

Armed Brothers

Starting at level 10, you may use your reaction to replace their AC with your own when an ally adjacent to you is attacked. If the attack still hits your ally then your expended reaction will be recovered.

Hold the Line

Starting at level 15, all-terrain in a 10-foot radius is considered to be difficult terrain for your enemies until the start of your next turn when you use the Tortoise Formation on your turn.

Deflection Spell

Starting at level 18, if you are targeting a range of spell attack but the attack misses, you may use your reaction to try to deflect the spell with your shield, instead of targeting it to another target. Choose a creature you can see within 30 feet including the spell caster. Instead, the spell is targeting them. Roll an attack roll (Modifier D20+Strength+Modifier Proficiency) and take damage as normal if you hit the enemy.
