Martial Arts

You can roll a d4 in place of the normal damage of your unarmed strike. This die increases to a d6 at 7th level, a d8 at 15th level, and a d10 at 18th level.

Defensive Stance

While unarmed, you can use your bonus action to ready your fists to block blows and grant yourself a +2 bonus to AC until the start of your next turn.  You can also give up one or more attacks from your attack action to increase this bonus by an additional +2 for each sacrificed attack, for a maximum of +10.

Expose Weakness

Starting at 7th level, creatures provoke opportunity attacks from you whenever they miss you with a melee attack.  Additionally, when you take an an opportunity attack, you can use the extra attack option instead of a single attack if all of your attacks are unarmed strikes.

Even the Odds

Starting at 10th level, you can use your action to make an unarmed strike against each creature of your choice within 5 feet of you, rolling separately for each target.

Bruiser’s Endurance

Starting at 15th level, when you score a critical hit against a creature with an unarmed strike, you gain temporary hit points equal to your fighter level.  You gain temporary hit points in this way no more than once per turn.  While these temporary hit points persist, you have resistance to non-magical bludgeoning damage.  These temporary hit points remain until you take a short or long rest or until you make an attack that isn’t an unarmed strike.

Gut Punch

Starting at 18th level, whenever you hit a creature with an unarmed strike, it must succeed on a constitution saving throw with a DC equal to 10 or half the damage taken, whichever is higher.  On a failed save, it is incapacitated until the end of its next turn.
