Bard
Base Class: Bard

The followers of the College of Hysteria hear music in the leaves and voices in the wind. They yell takes of forest orchestras and plays directed by grand rivers, finding songs sang by spiderwebs. They can be found walking alone through forests and on empty roads, often talking or singing to themselves, all the more content to hear the song of the fey then those of men.

To join the College of Hysteria, one must suffer, at least slightly, from madness. Students are known for their odd instruments and fey-like songs. These bards desire to share their experiences with others, at the risk of madness.

Bonus Proficiencies

Upon joining the College of Hysteria, you gain proficiency in Arcana, History, and Nature. Additionally, you gain advantage on any checks involving the fey or fairy tales.

Do You Hear What I Hear

At 3rd level, you can hear the music of the world in all it's dream-like beauty. You may expend Bardic Inspiration dice as a reaction whenever a spell is cast. Either the target of the spell or the caster must make a Wisdom save against your spellcasting DC. On a fail, they are charmed or frightened (your choice). This effect ends automatically if they take damage from you or an ally.

A Hysterical World

At 6th level, your spells are manipulated by your madness and mania, and those effected become transfixed by your insanity. When a target makes a spell saving throw, you may choose to give them disadvantage on their saving throw.

Manic Lullaby

Starting at 14th level, you've begun to memorize the manic Lullaby of the world, and it has effected you. You are immune to being charmed and frightened, as well as the spell Suggestion. Additionally, targets of your ability Do You Hear What I Hear have disadvantage on their saving throw against that affect.
