Base Class: Monk
After leaving the monastery, you manage to develop a name for yourself in the world as a legendary fighter. Your skills are as rare as they come, and your raw fighting ability is unrivaled. Your technique is unheard of by many, and only a few can manage to replicate some semblance of the style, but alas, they can never compare to the raw savagery of the original user.
Legendary Styles
At 3rd level, you learn to use 3 different fighting styles in combat that you can switch between as a Free Action. Each fighting style has unique qualities that can only be used while in that style.
-
Rush Style - While in Rush Style, flurry of blows gains an additional hit, your movement speed is increased by 10 feet, however, your Unarmed Strikes deal one damage die lower (to a minimum of 1d4).
-
Brawler Style - While in Brawler Style, your attacks have a -2 to hit but +4 to damage, the final hit of Flurry of Blows deals double damage and you gain advantage on grappling.
-
Beast Style - While in Beast Style, your attacks can damage enemies within 5 feet of the target and have a -5 to hit but +10 to damage, you can carry objects as if you have Powerful Build, and you gain proficiency with improvised weapons, however, your movement speed is capped at 10 feet.
Heat Actions
At 3rd level, you learn how to channel the heat of battle into fighting strength. When you make a successful attack against an enemy, you gain 1 ki point, and each successful attack by an enemy will make you lose 1 ki point. You can expend your ki points to fuel various Heat Actions. You know the following Heat Actions: Essence of Wall Crush, Essence of Brawler, Essence of the Flying Fist, and Essence of Heavy Hit.
-
Essence of Wall Crush - If an enemy within 5 feet of you is near a wall, you can expend 3 ki points as an Action to slam them against the wall and assault them violently dealing 3 of your damage dice of bludgeoning damage.
-
Essence of Brawler - While an enemy is grappled by you, you can expend 3 ki points as a Bonus Action to punch them twice and follow with a powerful headbutt dealing 5 of your damage dice of bludgeoning damage.
-
Essence of the Flying Fist - As a Bonus Action, you can expend 3 ki points to hit a Stunned enemy with enough force to send them flying 10 feet back. The target must make a strength saving throw or be knocked prone.
-
Essence of Heavy Hit - While holding a large object, you can expend 3 ki points as an Action to smack the enemy with the object knocking them prone if the target is your size or smaller, and then follow up by smashing the object onto them to deal 4 of your damage dice of bludgeoning damage. (Doing this destroys the object you held.)
Essence of Strong Defense
At 6th level, your styles continue to improve as you decide to focus on defense as a sense of offense.
- Weave - When an enemy makes a melee attack on you while you are in Rush Style, you can use your Reaction to double your Dexterity modifier to your AC potentially causing the attack to miss. You can weave up to 2 attacks, and each successful weave allows you to make an Opportunity Attack. At 11th level, you can Weave up to 3 attacks, and up to 4 attacks at 17th level.
- Counter - When an enemy makes a successful melee attack on you while you are in Brawler Style, you can use your reaction to make an Opportunity Attack with damage equal to half the damage taken.
- Resist Guard - While in Beast Style, you can use an Action to enter Resist Guard until the start of your next turn. While you're in Resist Guard, your speed is 0, but you halve all incoming damage, and after being attacked 3 times, you can make an Opportunity Attack with double damage.
Essence of Kiwami
At 11th level, Your skills reach an extremity, granting you more features. You learn the following features:
-
Climax Heat - When using a Heat Action in any style (excluding "The Legend Reborn" in Dragon Style), you can choose to expend 11 ki points instead of 3 to double the damage of the Heat Action.
-
Relentless Barrage - When in Rush Style, Flurry of Blows gains another additional hit, enemies hit with flurry of blows must make a Constitution Saving Throw or gain the Stunned effect, and you can Weave up to 3 attacks.
-
Relentless Counter - If you are reduced to 0 hit points by a melee attack while in Brawler Style, you can use Counter at full damage instead of half before falling unconscious.
-
Relentless Heat - When in Beast Style, targets hit with improvised weapons restore 2 ki points to you. You can also perform a Heat Action as your Opportunity Attack.
Essence of The Dragon
At 17th level, You've mastered all your prior styles and fused them into a single super style. The Dragon Style has impeccable form plus uncanny strength, making it a worthy fighting style for a "Legend". You learn 2 new Heat Actions, and new features for the Fighting Style.
-
Dragon Style - While in Dragon Style, Flurry of Blows gains an additional hit, your attacks have +6 to damage, you gain proficiency with improvised weapons, and you can use Weave up to 4 attacks.
-
Tiger Drop - If an enemy targets you for an attack while you are in Dragon Style, the enemy and you roll contest. If your roll is higher than the enemy's, you can make a single Unarmed Strike with 2d12 bludgeoning damage as an Opportunity Attack. If your attack is successful, the target will be unable to make any further attacks for the rest of its turn.
You now know the following Heat Actions: Essence of Escape, and The Legend Reborn.
-
Essence of Escape - When grappled by an enemy, you can use your Action to expend 3 ki points to break free forcibly and violently. The target grappling you will take 4d6 bludgeoning damage and will automatically set you free.
-
The Legend Reborn - When in Dragon Style, you can use your Action to expend 11 ki points to obliterate your foe using a combination of attacks from the Rush, Brawler, and Beast Styles and then finish with a powerful slam to the knee. The target will take 5d12 bludgeoning damage and will be knocked prone if they are your size or smaller.

Posted May 7, 2023to be fair, u can balance it by for example:
move the features further down the levels like Heat Actions at lvl 6, Essence of Strong Defense at lvl 11, Essence of Kiwami at lvl 17, Essence of The Dragon at lvl 20.
U switch Legendary Styles as a bonus action instead.
And nerf some damage of certain stuff like "Beast Style", and "Essence of Brawler"'s headbutt
or other stuff, but im still a bit of a rookie in the dnd world so pick my """advise""" like a grain of salt
