Base Class: Monk
The Way of the Whiskey Brawler teaches its students to move with the sudden frenetic movements of a whiskey imbiber, feeling little pain and throwing seemingly wild blows that land with deft ferocity. A whiskey bent warrior shambles in movement, presenting what appears to be intoxicated bravado and proves frustrating to engage. The whiskey brawler's stumbles and haymakers cover a carefully choreographed string of small movements and secondary strikes that bring an extra form of deadliness to the art form.
A whiskey brawler seeks balance and harmony, and in social situations bends towards joviality until contested... at which point, the whiskey brawler can become a dominant, fearsome foe.
When you choose this tradition at 3rd level, you gain proficiency in the Performance skill if you don't already have it. Your martial arts technique mixes combat training with the bravado of a ring leader. You also gain proficiency with brewer's supplies if you don't already have it.
Stand Your Ground
At 3rd level, you learn how to absorb punishment dealt to you. Whenever you use Patient Defense, you can choose to (instead of dodging) stand firm and gain resistance to bludgeoning, piercing, and slashing damage. On a hit, you can immediately use your reaction to deal equal damage to a creature within your melee range. This damage increases to FULL damage at level 8, and DOUBLE damage at level 15.
Brawler's Strength
At Level 6, you gain the following benefits:
Black Label Blocking: You can spend 1 ki point to gain an additional +2 to AC against melee attacks until the beginning of your next turn.
Punchdrunk Power: You can spend 1 ki point to add +2 to all strength-based attacks, damage, ability-checks and saving throws until the beginning of your next turn.
Ryemaker: You can spend 3 ki points to deal an additional 1d8 damage to all unarmed strikes until the beginning of your next turn. (This damage increases to 1d10 at 11th level, 1d12 at 16th level, and 2d12 at 19th level).
Whiskey Toughness
Starting at 11th level, whenever you are targeted for an attack and the enemy has advantage on the roll, you can spend 2 ki points to give them disadvantage instead. If you are targeted by an area effect or spell that would require a strength or dexterity saving throw, you can spend 2 ki points to gain advantage on the saving throw.
Mob Brawler
At 17th level, you gain the ability to take on all comers in a fight with multiple enemies. When you use your Flurry of Blows, you can make a single, separate unarmed strike attack against each creature in your melee range, doubling your proficiency on the attack and adding proficiency to the damage of each.
