Base Class: Wizard
You study the destructive powers of disease and plague with the intent of using them for your benefit. Members of this School keep it to themselves. At best fascination with the macarbe is met with confusion and disgust; at worst a "plague-bringer" is held to blame for maladies. Whether true or not, a mob does not care.
Learned Resistance
After prolonged study, you've developed protections against the damage diseases can have on the body. At 2nd level, you gain a resistance to necrotic damage.
Traded Knowledge
As you follow the paths of illnesses, you have met various healers tending to the sick. Sharing information and comparing notes, you've expanded your knowledge. You have access to the cleric spell list.
Plague Touch
Your studies are paying off and you can now work the harmful properties of disease into your magic. At 6th level you can change the damage type of any evocation spell to necrotic.
Strengthened Resistance
As you expose yourself to illness, your body learns as well as your mind. At 10th level you gain immunity to disease.
Plaguebringer's Shroud
You have followed disease and plague through your studies; now they follow you in a dark shroud, keeping you safe from those who would harm you.
At 14th level, you can activate this shroud as a bonus action. Hostiles starting their turn within 10 feet of the caster must make a CON save DC 14 or be poisoned. They take 2d8 poison damage on the first turn and take the poisoned condition, and an additional 1d8 every turn they are still poisoned. They repeat the save at the start of their next turn.
At level 17 the DC becomes 16.
At level 20 the DC becomes 18.
