Base Class: Sorcerer
Be it through bloodlines, curse, or even a pact. Something gave you the ability to control and bond with undead naturally. Unlike a wizard who has to study to learn, your ability is as natural as breathing. Sorcerers who can tap into this magic, are rare. So rare that some may never see one in their life time. Going this blood line makes you dangerious with the potential of becoming a natural Lich or having the power to destory a lich depending how you use this power!
Affinity with the dead
you have advantage when it comes to knowledge rolls on undead! You also have advantage when you use charisma checks against the undead. (Ex: Diplomacy, intimidate etc etc.)
If you are attacked by a undead you can use your reaction to make the attack have disadvantage against you.
At level 3 :You can spend a sorcery point to give you advantage on attack rolls with necromatic spells. If you spend another sorcery point you can ignore necromatic resistence. You gain Resistences to necromatic spells at level 3, you gain resistence to poisons at level 6 at level 10 you become immune to poison.
Path of Dark one: At level 7 you have to choose between 2 paths. Both paths grant different abilities as you level.
The Nercro path : Choosing this path means you choose to work with the undead to do better. You also seek out to destroy Liches and there influance in the world. You make a oath with a god of your choice (usually a Chaotic Good can be Chaotic Neutral as well, and Can not be evil). Once this pact is made he grants you re-life. Can only be used once every 8 months.
The Lich path : Choosing this path starts you on the path of a lich. (Your alignment changes if you are good to evil) You make a pact to learn the ways immortality. After you make the pact, you earn a Psudo-phylactery with part of your soul attached. If destoryed you will have no means of coming back if your body is destoryed, with out making a new one. To recreate a new one you most either do a Malicious Deed or spend 25k gold, and 10 souls to create a new one.
Level 12 if you chose the nerco path you gain immunity to Charmed, Frightened. you gain resistences from Bludgeoning, Piercing, and Slashing From undead attacks.
level 12 if you choose undead you get immunity to Charmed and paralyzing and Frightened. You gain resistences from bludgeoning, piercing and slashing from non magical attacks.
Undead Companion
starting at level 6 you can summon a undead companion of a cr rating no bigger then 2.
you can add 1d2+2 (average of 3) for each sorcerer level.
You add your proficiency bonus to undead creatures weapon attack.
Power of undeath
Necro path : You mastered the art of raising dead. You have the ability to change the look of your undead to give it a permanent disguise of human like qualities.
Once per day, when you cast a spell, you can choose to imbue that spell with energy adding 5d6 necrotic damage to the spell of your choice.
Lich path : You can summon 2d6 undead to fight along side you for one hour.
Reaper of souls
Necro path: You are granted with the power of eternal youth, your life span spreads far longer then any other of your race. Some may consider you immortal.
Lich path : Your body turns to a true undead lich. Your psudo-phylactery becomes a true phylactery. You can also create a new psudo-phylactery.
