Monk
Base Class: Monk

The way of pain is supposed to be a long forgotten technique that allows a monk to use the pain he feels to channel his strength. They reverse the way the battle flows as they don't get weaker as the battle goes on, but instead grow in power the longer they are pushed.

Pain Technique

Starting when you choose this tradition at 3rd level, when you are hit by a melee weapon attack or unarmed melee attack you can take a reaction to use a ki point performing a quick unarmed melee attack to the target that hit you. The attack deals your normal unarmed melee attack damage plus however much damage their attack did to you.

Empowering Pain

At 6th level, after taking damage, on your next turn Flurry of Blows and Step of the Wind are enhanced. You can make three unarmed strikes instead of two in Flurry of Blows. You also gain +20 to your movement speed if you use Step of the Wind.

Surpass Limits

Beginning at 11th level, you can surpass your physical limits, pushing yourself in the face of death. Upon reaching 1 or 0 hit points, you can use a ki point to take a reaction to make 5 unarmed strikes. You can only use this once per long rest.

Gaining Power

Starting at 17th level, pain is no longer a hinderance, but instead a tool that you can use. The more damage that you take, the more damage that you deal.
You gain the following buffs:
Damage Taken: 25  Bonus to Strength: +1 Bonus to Dexterity: +1
Damage Taken: 50  Bonus to Strength: +2  Bonus to Dexterity: +2
Damage Taken: 75  Bonus to Strength: +3  Bonus to Dexterity: +3
Damage Taken: 100  Bonus to Strength: +4  Bonus to Dexterity: +4
Damage Taken: 125  Bonus to Strength: +5  Bonus to Dexterity: +4
Damage Taken: 150  Bonus to Strength: +6  Bonus to Dexterity: +5
