Monk
Base Class: Monk

Monks of the Way of Omni-Present follow a tradition that values meditation through martial arts; feeling and observing the connections both in and outside of the body. These monks hone skills and abilities that are sometimes viewed as wizardly and when combined with their unique blend of martial arts, they are unparalleled in combat. Long periods of isolation tend to be a common practice for these monks to master their skill. There are monasteries where these monks can train together, often in extreme remote areas, but more often monks of this order find true seclusion to be the only way to open the third eye.

Extend The Mind

Starting when you choose this tradition at 3rd level, you can focus your mind to extend your consciousness beyond yourself. You gain the use of the Message cantrip.
Additionally, For your attack action and subsequent martial arts attacks you can choose to spend 1 ki point to make unarmed melee attacks at a range equal to your Monk Lvl x 5, or at disadvantage up to your Monk Lvl x 10.

When you reach level 10, the range of your Extend the Mind attacks will cap at 50/100.

Split The Ego

At 6th  level, you can use your force of will to split your body into two. You create an astral duplicate of yourself that appears in an adjacent unoccupied space. Each duplicate has a total HP equal to half your Total HP, and a current HP equal to half your current HP. The duplicates share the same focus, so all actions must be split between the two, but can be shared.

For example: If you have 50/60 HP and a movement speed of 40'.  Each duplicate would then have 25/30 HP and could each move 20' to a different enemy, one could make an attack, and the other could use their bonus action to perform the unarmed strike granted by the feature "Martial Arts".

Additionally, if one of the duplicates is dropped to 0 HP, the other duplicate would revert back to their normal stats with the remaining HP their Astral form had leftover.

Opening The Third Eye

By 11th level, you have learned to open your senses to see the truth behind the veil. You can choose to use your action to open your third eye and gain Truesight for up to 10 minutes. Your third eye can remain open until you make an attack, cast a spell, or decide to close your third eye.

Step Into Ether

At 17th level you can choose to spend 5 Ki points to gain the benefits of the spell Etherealness. These benefits last for a number of minutes equal to your Monk LVL. During this time you can enter the Ethereal Plane a number of times equal to your Wisdom modifier (minimum 1). Entering or exiting the Ethereal plane is a bonus action.

Additionally, as an action you can choose to send a creature within 5 feet into the Ethereal plane in your place. If the creature is unwilling it must make a WIS saving throw against a DC of 8 + prof. bonus + WIS modifier. This action consumes one use of your abilities to enter the ethereal plane. An unwilling creature is under the effects and restrictions of the Etherealness spell, and can make a saving throw at the end of its turn to return to the Material plane.

At the end of this ability any creatures still in the ethereal plane is returned to the material plane. If that creature occupies the same space as a solid object or creatures, it is shunted to the nearest unoccupied space and takes force damage equal to twice the number of feet moved.
