Bard
Base Class: Bard

A dark-haired dwarf lurches to the edge to the cave precipice, axe gripped tightly in his hands.  He looks out over the horde of goblins in the cave, as yet unaware of his presence.  He begins to ring his axe against the stone and stomp his feet rhythmically, as the goblin horde turns to witness this invader in their midst.  The bard adds his voice to the performance, amplified by thaumaturgical skill, as a harsh staccato of dwarven speech overlays the rhythm set forth by the bard's axe and feet.  As he continues, dark hair stringy with sweat covering his face, the goblin frenzy builds, until soon there is a swirling mass of goblin flesh and claws whirling beneath him.

Metalcraft

When you join the College of Steel at 3rd level, you gain proficiency with Heavy Armor and Shields.  Members of this college will not wear armor that is not constructed primarily from rock or metal.

Also at level three, you learn the Thaumaturgy cantrip, because it is required for your performances to change your eyes to all black, shout extra loudly, and cause minor theatrical effects nearby to invoke awe, fear, and excitement in your audiences.

Growl

Also at 3rd level, you learn how to use your presence and vocal skills to incite a creature to target you with its attacks.  As a bonus action, you may expend one use of Bardic Inspiration to encourage a creature within 60 feet of you to target you with its first melee or ranged attack before the end of your next turn.  If the creature attempts to attack a different target, it receives an attack penalty equal to the roll of the inspiration die. The creature is immune if it can’t hear you or if it’s immune to being charmed.  The growl has no effect if you are no longer visible(via invisibility, full cover, or other effect) or audible to the creature, or you become incapacitated.

Mosh

At 6th level, you learn to incite crowds with your presence.  Each creature within a 20 foot radius centered on a point you choose within 60 feet is consumed with a manic energy.  Each creature takes a number of d6 budgeoning damage equal to the number of other creatures within 5 feet of it. Each affected creature is allowed a dexterity saving throw (DC = the bard's charisma spell save). On a successful save, the creature takes half damage. On a failed save, the target takes full damage and is swept along with the churning crowd, losing its reaction and moving 10 feet in a random direction. If a creature has no adjacent creatures to it, it is unaffected by being caught in a mosh.  This ability can be used once per long rest.

Riot

When you use your performance skill, you use bardic inspiration to apply the reckless status to all listeners within 60 ft. Reckless gives advantage to attack rolls made by the creature, advantage to attacks against those creature, and disadvantage on wisdom, charisma, and intelligence saves made while under the influence of reckless.  The effect lasts 1 minute, and may be used once per short rest.
