Witnessing a Dervish in combat can be something magnificent to behold. Their focus on dancing around a battlefield, flashing blades, and striking with unerring accuracy is unprecedented. They combine the skills of movement and blades seamlessly while attacking their opponents and are often capable of bringing down multiple foes quickly and accurately.
Adroit Nimbleness
Starting when choosing this martial archetype at 3rd level, you learn how react more rapidly and accelerate yourself faster than most. You can add your proficiency bonus to initiative and when you’re prone, you can stand up by spending 5 feet of movement, rather than half your speed.
Dervish Strike
At 3rd level, you specialize your skill with light slashing weapons and are able to use your movement advantageously in combat while using them. When you move at least 10 feet in a straight line towards a creature your next weapon attack against them with a light slashing weapon gains a bonus to damage of +1d6, at 10th level this bonus increases to +2d6.
Fast Movement
Starting at 7th level, your speed increases by 10 feet while you aren’t wearing heavy armor.
Dervish Dance
Beginning at 10th level, whenever you use your Dervish Strike ability and successfully hit a creature with a weapon attack that creature has disadvantage on their next attack against you.
Mastery of Movement
At 15th level your understanding of movement in combat is remarkable. Whenever you hit a creature using your Dervish Strike your speed increases by 10 feet till the end of your turn.
A Thousand Cuts
When you reach 18th level as a Dervish, you strike with rapidity and precision. As a bonus action, you may prepare a weapon in your off-hand to attack simultaneously with your main-hand weapon, both weapons must have the light weapon property. Until the start of your next turn, whenever you make an attack with your main-hand weapon you may make an additional attack with your off-hand weapon. This attack follows the normal rules of two-weapon fighting.
You can use this ability two times, regaining any expended uses after a short rest.
