Bard
Base Class: Bard

Channeling their inner turmoil and spirit, the Bards of the College of Metal shun the "antiquated" musical pratices of their kin, painting their bodies black and silver and turning the sounds of battle into mighty concerts, the College of Metal is at home both on the stage and in the battlefield.

Bonus Proficiencies

When you join the College of Metal at 3rd level, you gain proficiency with Heavy Armor, greatsword, greataxe.

Heavy Instrument

Also at 3rd level, you design an instrument worthy of your extreme songs. You can modify a weapon into your Heavy Instrument, the weapon must have the heavy and two handed properties to be made into such. While holding the Heavy Instrument with both hands, you can ignore somatic components of spells and treat the weapon as your spellcasting focus.

Thunderous Concert

At 6th level, you learn to unleash the cries of your soul. As an action, you can spend one of your Bardic Inspiration dies to use this feature.

Roll your Bardic Inspiration die once. Creatures within 30 feet of you that are friendly toward you gain a number of Temporary Hit Points equal to your roll, while creatures that are hostile toward you must make a Wisdom Saving Throw against your spell save DC. On a failure, they take thunder damage equal to the number rolled, of half as much on a sucessful save.

Battlesong

At 14th level, you have mastered the art of weaving spellcasting into your music. When you use your action to cast a bard spell, you can use a bonus action to direct a blast of sound at a creature within 30 feet of you. The creature must pass on a Constitution Saving Throw against your Spell Save DC or take 5d6 Thunder Damage, or half as much on a successful roll.

You can use this feature a number of times equal to your Charisma modifier, regaining spent charges when you finish a Long Rest.
