Base Class: Monk
Monks that follow the Way of the Shifting tides quite literally go with the flow. They float down rivers and across seas until they reach a natural halt. When they do, they know this is where they must be.
Monks that follow the teachings of the oceans will learn to shape water; control it in a way that causes harm to foes and aid allies; travel faster through the water and hold their breath for inhuman lengths of time.
Arcane Flow
Starting when you choose this tradition at 3rd level, you can use your ki to duplicate the effects of certain spells. As an action, you can spend 1 ki point to cast purify food and drink, [Tooltip Not Found] and you can spend 2 ki points to cast ice knife, or snilloc's snowball swarm, without providing material components. Additionally, you gain the shape water and frostbite cantrips if you don’t already know them.
You may summon a crab, octopus, or quipper as a familiar.
Aquatic Affinity
At 6th level, you gain access to the spells create food and water, water breathing, and water walk that you can cast for 2 Ki points and tidal wave, and wall of water that you may cast for 3 Ki points.
Your swim speed becomes equal to your walk speed.
You mat summon a giant crab, giant sea horse, or reef shark as a familiar.
Devastating Torrent
At 11th level, you gain the ability to create an ball that erupts into a devastating torrent. As an action, you magically create a sphere and hurl it at a point you choose within 150 feet, where it erupts into a forceful torrent in all directions.
Each creature in that 20-foot-radius sphere must succeed on a Dexterity saving throw or take 2d6 cold damage, or half as much on a successful throw.
You can increase the sphere’s damage by spending ki points. Each point you spend, to a maximum of 3, increases the damage by 2d6.
As an action, you can spend 5 Ki point to cast cast conjure minor elementals, control water, and watery sphere.
Your swim speed increases to be equal to 1.5x your walk speed.
You may also summon a crocodile, giant frog, or giant octopus as a familiar.
Master of the Tides
At 17th level, as an action, you can spend 7 Ki point to cast cast cone of cold, conjure elemental, and maelstrom.
Your swim speed increases to be equal to 2x your movement speed and you can now breathe under water as you would in air.
You may summon a killer whale as a familiar.
