Base Class: Fighter
There is a myth about people who through persistent practice became one with their weapon. These fearsome masters of combat called everblade and they poses the power to conjure spectral copys of their weapon.
One with the Blade
Beginning when you choose this archetype at 3rd level, your harmony with your weapon reaches beyond limits.
While taking a long rest you can choose to meditate and become one with a melee weapon you possess. At the end of your rest you gain one point of exhaustion and your weapon disappears since its became a soulblade, a part of your soul. If the weapon grants magical powers you can still use them. If the weapon needs attunement it also takes one of your attunement slots. You also suffers from any property like 'heavy' but it counts as you use it with two hand if it's versatile or two-handed. You also gain the ability to use the Spectral Blades feature.
You can only have one soulblade at a time if you use this feature again your new weapon replaces your old weapon which also reappears.
Spectral Blades
Starting at 3rd level, you can summon spectral copys of your soulblade. You can only use this feature if you already bonded with a weapon using your One with the Blade feature.
As a bonus action you can summon a spectral blade and place it within 5 feet of you. Whenever you use make an attack in your Attack Action while you don't hold any weapon or shield in your hands, you can instead choose to do one of the followings:
- Make an attack with a spectral balde that's within 15 feet of you. For attack modifier and damage it counts the same as if you would make an attack with the original weapon from the place of the spectral blade and it has a 5 feet attack range.
- You can move a spectral blade for 10 feet that is within 30 feet of you.
At once you can only summon as many spectral blade as your Wisdom modifier (at least 1). If you conjure more than that, your first summoned spectral blade disappeares. Any blade that is more than 100 feet away from you also disappears.
Master of Control
At 7th level, your masterful blade controlling skills grant you the following benefits:
- Whenever an enemy leaves the 5 feet range of one of your spectral blades, you can use your reaction to make an opportunity attack.
- If a creature that you can see and is within 5 feet of one of your spectral blades takes damage, you can use your reaction impose disadvantage on the attack roll.
- Spectral blades can grant flanking advantage for allies and each other.
Spectral Step
Starting at 10th level, you gain the ability to teleport as an action to one of your Spectral Blades that is within 30 feet of you. To use this feature you have to be within 5 feet of a spectral blade and you will also appear within 5 feet of the destined spectral blade.
You can use this feature twice between long rests.
Superior Soulblade
At 15th level, your bond with your soulblade deepens. You can use any special ability that your soulblade weapon poses from the position of any of your spectral blades. You can only use them as many times as it written in the description of the weapon.
Bladestorm
At 18th level, you learn how to control all of your blades for a short amount of time. As an action you can collect any of your spectral blades within 60 feet of you and attack a creature that you can see within 30 feet of you with them. The creature has to make a Dexterity saving throw and your DC is your 8 + wisdom modifier + your proficiency bonus. For damage roll twice every damage dice but add only your wisdom modifier to it after every spectral blade. On a failed save the creature takes full damage, on a successful one takes only half.
After this every spectral blades used for the attack disappears.
