Druid
Base Class: Druid

For all of nature's beauty and peace, the circle of life is a violent and barbaric place- and at the top of the food chain is the Circle of the Predator. These Druids are hunters, beastmasters, and warriors who strike from the shadows. This circle values the circle of life, considering all creatures to be equal in the eyes of nature- when a wolf eats a hare, it is no different than when a human kills another. The Circle of the Predator is for the most cold, calculating and ruthless Druids, representing the most primal and savage aspect of nature.

Bonus Proficiencies

When you choose this circle at 2nd level, you gain proficiency with longbows, shortbows, blowguns, and nets. Additionally, you gain proficiency in the Stealth skill.

Circle Spells

Your inner hunter infuses you with the ability to cast certain spells. At 2nd, 3rd, 5th, 7th, and 9th level you gain access to circle spells connected to beasts and prey.

Once you gain access to a circle spell, you always have it prepared, and it doesn’t count against the number of spells you can prepare each day. If you gain access to a spell that doesn’t appear on the druid spell list, the spell is nonetheless a druid spell for you.

Additionally, moving through nonmagical difficult terrain costs you no extra movement.

Ferocious Assault

Whether through magical or mundane methods, you are a deadly hunter. Beginning at 6th level, whenever you use your action to cast a spell of 5 level or lower, you can make a ranged weapon attack as part of the same action.

If you attack in this way, you can deliver the spell through the ranged weapon. Wherever the ammunition lands is considered the target or focal point of the spell.

Pounce

Beginning at 10th level, whenever you cast a damaging spell of 6th level or lower or make an attack on a creature that you are hidden from, the damage increases by an amount equal to half your Druid level. If the spell requires a saving throw, the target automatically fails.

Alpha

When you reach 14th level, beasts recognize you as an Alpha. You can cast the following spells as rituals even if you don't have them prepared: beast bond, animal friendship, speak with animals, animal messenger, locate animals or plants (animals only), dominate beast.
