Monk
Base Class: Monk

The Shaolin monk stands in the courtyard of her temple, one leg stretched above her head, with her eyes closed. With a single phrase uttered by her Master, she changes positions into a defensive stance without opening her eyes. The song of nearby birds and a subtle wind are the only sound except for the quick swish of clothing as over a hundred monks mirror each other's movement to the T. Only at the Shaolin Temple exists such a disciplined, uniform, and focused regiment of monks.

Years of Training

You can use a ki point to remove one point of exhaustion. Training at the Shaolin Temple has taught you techniques to continue enduring - the only obstacle you see is not the body, but the mind. You now have advantage on all Constitution checks. Once per long rest, you can make three Constitution saving throws. If all three succeed, you regain one ki point.

Master of The Body

You have accomplished more than one could with only practice. You gain +2 to your Dexterity score, with a maximum of 24. Furthermore, you begin to master the art of Kung-Fu, so much so that certain moves become merely a reaction to you. Once per short rest, you can reroll a Dexterity or Strength check. You gain proficiency in Simple Weapons and are now proficient in Constitution, Strength, and Dexterity saving throws if you are not already. You also gain expertise in Athletics if you don't already have it.

Varying Speed of Mind and Body

Your body is a template, allowing for your mind to take over. You no longer need to eat, sleep, drink, or breathe. Instead of sleeping, you can take a Long Rest by meditating for a period of 4 hours. During this time, your passive perception is temporarily raised by a value of 1d4, and you are perfectly aware of your surroundings. You also learn to surprise your enemies by varying the speed at which you attack, creating unpredictable fighting approaches. You also learn how to fight in any environment. Terrain no longer slows you down, and you gain 60 ft. of darkvision. Keeping up with your Shaolin studies, you begin to sharpen your mind, learning quicker and comprehending more than you ever have before. Your leaping length is doubled, and you learn two languages of your choice.

Incredible Endurance

Your body takes a lot less damage. As a reaction, you can use a ki point to ignore any damage sustained from a single effect once per short rest. You are immune to bludgeoning damage. You are resistant to the following forms of damage: Acid, Poison, Lightning, Thunder, Slashing, Fire, Cold, Piercing, Force. When your body is physically damaged, you may spend two ki points and make a Wisdom saving throw. On a success, you take no damage. On a failure, you take half damage.
