Barbarian
Base Class: Barbarian

The path of the Fiendish Invoker is not one to be undertaken by the faint of heart. Shunned even by the barbarian clans of the Red Wastes, practitioners of this art often live in seclusion as they carve their profane talismans. In the throes of battle, your fetishes allow you to draw upon a reservoir of dark power leeched from fiends. By far, the most common fetishes are those that draw power from the chaotic denizens of Rix-Maadi. The power taken is no pact, and fetish invokers will quickly find themselves with a new enemy, should any demons find themselves being represented by this foolish mockery of power.

Fiendish Fetish

At 3rd level, when you adopt this path, you choose a demon and gain it's feature. You must personally create a fetish depicting the demon in some way. A wicker effigy, burnt wood carving, or clay figure are all good examples. At you option, you also gain minor physical attributes that are reminiscent of the fiend. For example, if you draw power from Rakdos, you might grow spines down your back, or if your demon is Marilith, the skin on the side of your legs may become thick and scaly.

Balor

As a bonus action while raging, you invoke the fiery wrath of a Balor. You and all creatures you choose within 5 feet of you take fire damage equal to your strength modifier.

Marilith

While raging, when you make an opportunity attack, you can invoke the swiftness of a Marilith to make two attack against the triggering creature, rather than one.

Rakdos

When you hit a creature with a melee weapon attack, you can attempt to frighten it with the visage of Rakdos himself with a bonus action. The creature must make a wisdom saving throw or be frightened of you until the end of its next turn. The saving throw DC is 8 + your proficiency bonus + your Charisma modifier.

Sire of Insanity

When you hit a creature with a melee weapon attack, you can attempt to assault it's mind with visions of insanity, confusing it with a bonus action. The creature must succeed on a wisdom saving throw, or be affected with the effects as per the confusion spell until the end of it's next turn. If the creature succeeds on its saving throw, they are immune to this effect for 24 hours. The saving throw DC is 8 + your proficiency bonus + your Charisma modifier.

All powers granted by the Demonic Fetish draw upon a limited pool of dark energy, siphoned through the power of your rage. You can use this feature a number of times equal to you Constitution modifier (a minimum of once). You regain any expended uses upon entering a rage.

Usurpation of Evil

At 6th level, you gain a magical benefit based on the demon of your choose. You gain new powers and have stronger demonic blood in you now causing you to appear even more demonic.

Balor

Your leaps begin to resemble the terrifying flight of a Balor. When you make a running long jump or running high jump, you can jump up to twice the distance.

Marilith

You naturally begin to exhibit the nimbleness of a Marilith. While traveling at a slow pace, you can add double your proficiency bonus to Dexterity (Stealth) checks to move stealthily

Rakdos

Your skin grows thick like the ancient Rakdos himself. You become naturally adapted to hot and cold climates, as described in chapter 5 of the Dungeon Master's Guide.

Sire of Insanity

Your mind becomes broken and muddled, much like most who spend any amount of time around or thinking about a Sire of Insanity. Your confused, irrational thoughts render you immune to any effect that would read your mind, and you develop an incurable indefinite madness effect.

Demonic Visage

At 10th level, you become so conduit of demonic energy and power that you can begin to display yourself as the demonic powers you summon. As a bonus action, you can make yourself appear as an illusion of your selected demon fetish, as per the [Tooltip Not Found] spell. This cannot exceed the large creature size, and the illusion is not independent of your character. This visage moves, and performs the actions that you do. It also speaks in demonic tones in accordance to what you say as well. Those who behold this illusion can make an Intelligence (Investigation) check against a DC that equals 8 + you proficiency bonus + your Charisma modifier. Those who fail this check are full convinced your visage is real, your actual form disappears to them, and you have advantage on Charisma (Intimidation) checks against those who fail. This visage lasts for one minute, and doesn't require concentration to keep the illusion. Creatures can choose to fail this effect. You can use this feature a number of times equal to your constitution modifier (minimum of 1), and all uses recharge on a Long rest. Additionally, you learn the Demonic tongue (abyssal), if you already do not know it.

Fetish Mastery

At 14th level, you gain a magical benefit based on a fetish of your choice. You have nearly become a perfect vessel and viscous mockery of the demon you have gained power from.

Balor

When you enter your rage, you can teleport up to 120 feet to an unoccupied space you can see adjacent to a hostile creature. After you teleport, you and all creature you choose within 5 feet of you take fire damage equal to double your strength modifier.

Marilith

As a reaction when you see a creature within 60 feet of you casting a 4th-level or lower spell, you can consume a rage to counter that spell. If you are not already raging, you then begin raging.

Rakdos

When you enter your rage, you can select a humanoid within 60 feet. That humanoid must succeed on a wisdom saving throw, or be dominated by you, as per the spell Dominate Person. The saving throw DC is 8 + your proficiency bonus + your Charisma modifier. You are able to concentrate of this effect during your rage. The effect ends after 1 minute, when you stop raging, or if you lose your concentration (as if you were casting a spell.) You must complete a long rest before using this feature again.

Sire of Insanity

When you enter your rage. You can select a creature within 60 feet. That creature must succeed on a wisdom saving throw or be confused as per the confusion spell. The saving throw DC is 8 + your proficiency bonus + your Charisma modifier. You are able to concentrate on this effect during your rage. The effect ends after 1 minute, when you stop raging, or if you lose your concentration (as if you were casting a spell.) You cannot use this effect again without exiting rage.
