Base Class: Cleric
Often mistaken for clerics of the Arcana or Knowledge domains, Humble Savants are of an eclectic following. No one savant will share the same collection of ideals and methods as another, but there are still some commonalities between them. Foremost is that savants generally believe that a mastery of the mysteries of divine magic rests within a mastery of its most fundamental expressions. As such, savants maintain a high number of cantrips as well as cultivate a connection with their patron deity that allows them to rapidly replenish their magical reserves so that they may continuously cast life saving or ending spells.
Additional Cantrips
When you choose this domain at 1st level, you gain the thaumaturgy cantrip if you don’t already know it. You also gain three additional cantrips, chosen from any spellcasting class. These cantrips count as cleric cantrips for you.
Divine Replenishment
You have forged a deep connection to your deity specifically so that you may renew your magical reserves more rapidly. Once per day when you finish a short rest, you can choose expended spell slots to recover. The spell slots can have a combined level that is equal to or less than half your cleric level (rounded up), and none of the slots can be 6th level or higher.
For example, if you’re a 4th-level cleric, you can recover up to two levels worth of spell slots. You can recover either a 2nd-level spell slot or two 1st-level spell slots.
Channel Divinity: Ripple in the Weave
Starting at 2nd level, you can use your Channel Divinity to bend the nature of a spell.
As a reaction when a spell is cast within 60 feet of you, you present your holy symbol and warp the fabric of the spell. If the spell requires a saving throw, you can change which saving throw is required. If the spell inflicts damage, you can change the type of damage. You may change the damage type of a spell to acid, cold, fire, lightning, thunder, poison, or magical bludgeoning, piercing, or slashing damage.
You may target your own spells using this ability.
Improved Array (Non Functional)
Starting at 6th level, you can choose one additional spell list from another class to add to your cleric spell list. The Artificer and Wizard spell lists are not available for selection as they are derived from rigorous academic study rather than faith or force of will.
Note: With how the homebrew system is currently set up on D&D Beyond, there is no way to do this other than to manually add individual spells to each option. This means that you will have to track the spells that you have access to and have prepared through some other method.
Deus Vult
Add the paladin spell list to your cleric spell list.
Hymns of Devotion
Add the bard spell list to your cleric spell list.
Innate Divinity
Add the sorcerer spell list to your cleric spell list.
Prayerful Pact
Add the warlock spell list to your cleric spell list.
Ways of the Wild
Add the ranger spell list to your cleric spell list.
Wonders of Nature
Add the druid spell list to your cleric spell list.
Potent Spellcasting
Starting at 8th level, you add your Wisdom modifier to the damage you deal with any cleric cantrip.
Insightful Prayer
Starting at 17th level, during a long rest you can choose one spell from the bard, druid, paladin, ranger, sorcerer, or warlock spell lists of a level that you have a spell slot for. You count as knowing that spell and having it prepared until your next long rest, though it does not count against the number of spells you have prepared. If the spell is of 3rd level or lower, you may cast it once without using a spell slot per short rest.
