Base Class: Monk
Monks of the Way of the Mystic mix martial prowess with the art of magic, using ki to power their spells.
Spellcasting
Through training, you have learned to manipulate your Ki to replicate the effects of spells. When you choose this tradition at 3rd level, you can use your Ki to cast spells you have prepared. Your spells do not require verbal or material components.
Cantrips
You learn 3 cantrips from either the Wizard or Cleric spell lists. they must be from either the schools of Abjuration or Evocation.
Casting Spells
When casting one of your spells, you must expend a number of Ki points equal to the spell’s level.
You can prepare a number of spells from those lists equal to your Wisdom modifier + half your Monk level
Spellcasting Ability
Wisdom is your spellcasting ability for your Monk spells. You use your Wisdom whenever a spell refers to your spellcasting ability. In addition, you use your Wisdom modifier when setting the saving throw DC for a Monk spell you cast and when making an attack roll with one.
Spell save DC = 8 + your proficiency bonus + your Wisdom modifier
Spell attack modifier = your proficiency bonus + your Wisdom modifier
Mystic Weapon
At 6th level, you can use your bonus action to create a Mystic Weapon. It can take the form of any simple or martial melee weapon that lacks the heavy or special properties. You are proficient with this weapon while you wield it, and it counts as magical for the purpose of overcoming resistance and immunity to nonmagical attacks and damage. If your stop holding your weapon, it disappears.
Quick Spell
When you reach 11th level, you can cast a cantrip in place of one of your Flurry of Blows attacks. You can also cast a spell in place of one of your normal attacks, however, the spell cannot be any levels above your Wisdom Modifier.
Spell Mastery
At 17th level, you can cast your spells at up to ninth level.
