Base Class: Rogue
Vexing dodgers take advantage of their smaller size to outmaneuver larger foes such as giants.
Limb Climber
A Vexing Dodger can climb on a creature of at least one size category larger than itself by making a successful Athletics check the DC of which is the target's AC minus their armor bonus. Doing so does not count as a grapple or incur an attack of opportunity. The target creature has disadvantage on all melee attacks made against the Vexing Dodger while they are climbing on the creature.
Dirty Trick
At 3rd level the Vexing Dodger can use an action to impose a penalty to their target by tinkering with their target's gear or body as they cling to them. Examples include but are not limited to:
- Inflict disadvantage on their next attack.
- Give an ally advantage on their next attack made against the target.
- Hinder the target's movement speed.
- Remove an item from the target's person.
- Blind or Deafen their target for 1 round.
Doing so does not incur an attack of opportunity.
Underfoot Agility
At 3rd level, the Vexing Dodger has become accustomed to dealing with larger creatures than itself. It gains advantage on any Athletics or Acrobatics check to climb onto or off of a creature or move around on a creature as long as that creature is at least one size category larger than itself.
Underfoot Trickster
At 9th level, the Vexing Dodger can use it's Dirty Trick ability as a swift action if it hits it's target with a melee attack that caused sneak attack damage.
Distracting Climber
At 13th level, The Vexing Dodger can apply half of its sneak attack damage (rounded down) to any melee attack that hits a target that it has applied a Dirty Trick to.
Needle in the Side
At 17th level, the Vexing Dodger is a master of finding weaknesses in its larger targets. As long as you are climbing on a target that is larger than you and you have applied a Dirty Trick to it previously, your melee attacks gain the full bonus of your sneak attacks.
