Path of the Jotun

Barbarians who take this path sacrafice intelligence in exchange for pure strength. I'm going to be honest with you guys here. If you are looking to maintain a well rounded character, this probably isnt the subclass for you. If you're looking for a super overpowered character, this probably isnt the subclass for you, but if youre looking for a slightly underpowered subclass that seems like it could be kinda fun but doesnt go that deep into lore, you've come to the right place.

Strength of the Jotun

Blood of the world shakers runs in your veins. Starting at level 3 when you choose this subclass, Your maximum strength score is increased to 22. This, however, comes at the cost of intelligence. Your maximum intelligence score is reduced to 15. Increase your current strength score by three and reduce your current intelligence score by three (to a minimum of 1)

Festing

"Fortress"

Starting at level 3, You become much more sturdy. If you have two feet on the ground and aren't restrained or incapacitated, strength saving throws against being knocked prone or moved around unwillingly are rolled with advantage. When rolling against being moved: On a failed saving throw, if the save is DC is lower than your strength score you instead move half the distance. On a success, You dont move at all as long as the save was below your strength score.

Powerful Build

Starting at level 6, You count as one size larger when determining your carrying capacity and the weight you can push, drag, or lift.

 

Skold

"Shield"

Starting at level 10,  if you and another creature within 5ft of you are forced to make a strength saving throw against being moved, if you have an arm free you can grab hold of the creature as a reaction. If you choose to do so, both creatures gain the benefits of the "Festing" feature. Only you have to make the roll.

Harbunad

"Armor"

Starting at level 14, your skin become rough and thick, like the hide of an elephant. You become immune to bludgeoning damage and are resistant to piercing and slashing damage.
