Base Class: Monk
Monks who follow the way of the waves have learnt to manifest their ki into the energy of the ocean, allowing them to channel the power of the waves through their own body. They can use this power to enhance their might and ferocity, becoming an unstoppable force in combat.
Wave Form Technique
Starting when you choose this tradition at 3rd level, you can manifest your ki to summon the force of a mighty wave. Whenever you hit a creature with one of the attacks granted by your Flurry of Blows, you can impose the following effect on that target:
- Manifesting the force of a mighty wave, you strike an opponent. It must make a Strength saving throw. If it fails, you can push it up to 20 feet away from you and take damage equal to your martial arts die.
Mantle of the Waves
At 6th level as a bonus action you can spend 2 Ki points to cloak yourself in water for 1 min or until you dispel it gaining you enhanced endurance and reflexes.
- You gain a number of reactions per turn equal to your wisdom modifier.
- At the beginning of every turn, you gain 10 temporary hit points as you are protected by the swirling mass of water surrounding your body. (This effect does not stack)
- You gain the ability to walk on water
Ocean Soul
At 11th level, you have mastered the manipulation of your ki, allowing you to manifest it in the form of a tidal wave. You can spend 4 ki points to cast Tidal Wave. The powerful and unstoppable nature of your ki also strengthens your body. You gain resistance to non-magical bludgeoning damage.
Armor of the waves
