Cleric
Base Class: Cleric

Those born with a bond to the North Wind of the shared dream uttered forth prophecies of defense with all the cold chill of a northern wind. They were the most common of the Slaareshi people, and aided in defending the country from monsters and invaders. As their bond with the north wind grows, their prophecies gain potency and strength, their very words creating new bonds of prophecy within the dream that come true either almost immediately, or later on when the terms of the prophecy have been fulfilled.

They take only half damage on a successful save and avoid being knocked prone and losing their attack. You may use this feature a number of times equal to your Wisdom modifier (a minimum of once). You regain all expended uses when you finish a long rest.

Channel Divinity: The Frozen North

Prophecy of Winter's Defense

The Prophet of the North wind spends ten minutes meditating, and then one minute uttering forth a powerful prophecy. They then pronounce a city, town, or village to protect as well as the specific circumstances that will bring that prophecy to past. For example, these circumstances might be -- "Three weeks from now" or "When the armies of St. Aldous come." You may specify individuals that are unaffected by any or all of the effects that you choose as part of the prophecy.

The following effects then occur on the day of the prophecy:

Teleportation and Divination Wards: Teleportation and divination magic completely fail upon reaching the border of the city. It cannot be scried upon with any magical means, and no being can teleport in or out of the city's limits.

Wall of Ice: A wall of ice springs up around the prophesied area. It is an object that can be damaged and thus breached. It has AC 12, and 30 hitpoints per 10-foot section and is vulnerable to fire damage. Reducing a 10-foot section of wall to 0 hit points destroys it and leaves behind a sheet of frigid air in the space the wall occupied. A creature moving through the sheet of frigid air for the first time on a turn must make a Constitution saving throw. That creature takes 5d6 cold damage on a failed save, or half as much damage on a successful one.

Icy Guardians: 1d4 CR 5 Ice Elementals appear to defend the prophesied area. These guardians last only during the conditions that satisfy the prophesy or until they are killed, at which point they vanish. For example, if the prophesy indicates that it will take place when "the forces of the south attack" then the ice-guardians will remain only during the initial attack, or if the prophesy says that it will occur "on the third monday of next month" then the ice-guardians will last for the duration of that day before vanishing.

Upon the utterance of the prophecy, the North Wind prophet immediately takes three levels of exhaustion and there is a 25% chance that they are unable to utter a prophecy of this kind again for a month.
