Barbarian
Base Class: Barbarian

At the highest mountain peaks — far above the slopes where trees grow and where the air is thin and the frigid winds howl — dwell the reclusive Mountain Barbarian. Few folk can claim to have seen one, and fewer still can claim friendship with them. Mountain Barbarian wander a bleak realm of rock, wind, and cold. Their bodies look as if they are carved from mountain stone and give them great physical power. Their spirits take after the wandering wind, making them nomads who wander from peak to peak. Their hearts are infused with the cold regard of their frigid realm, leaving each and everyone of them with the responsibility to earn a place in the tribe or die trying.

Giant Might

Starting when you choose this path at 3rd level, when you rage you imbue yourself with the might of giants, for the duration of your rage you gain the following benefits:

- You become Large, along with anything you are wearing. If you lack the room to become Large, your size doesn’t change.

- You harness your fury to anchor your feet to the earth, shrugging off blows, you cannot be knocked prone while raging unless you become unconscious.

- Your weapon gain the Oversized property.

An oversized weapon deals one-step greater damage than its normal counterpart.

  • 1 → 1d4 → 1d6 → 1d8 → 1d10 → 1d12 → 2d8
  • 2d4 → 2d6 → 2d8

Great Stature

Mountain Barbarian have giant blood running through their vein, making them bigger and taller than most.

At 3rd level when you gain this feature, roll 3d4. You permanently grow a number of inches in height equal to the roll.

In addition, your hit point maximum increases by 1 for each level of barbarian you have, and you count as one size larger when determining your carrying capacity and the weight you can push, drag, or lift.

Reckless Abandon

Beginning at 6th level, when you use Reckless Attack while raging, you also gain temporary hit points equal to 1 + Constitution modifier (minimum of 1). They vanish if any of them are left when your rage ends.

Unstoppable Charge

Beginning at 10th level, while raging, you can use a bonus action during your move to pass through the space of a Large or smaller creature. That creature must succeed on a Strength saving throw (DC 8 + your Strength bonus + your proficiency bonus) or be knocked prone and take bludgeoning damage equal to 1d12 + your Strength modifier.

Rage Beyond Death

Beginning at 14th level, the giant power that fuels your rage allows you to shrug off fatal blows.

While you're raging, having 0 hit points doesn’t knock you unconscious. You still must make death saving throws, and you suffer the normal effects of taking damage while at 0 hit points. However, if you would die due to failing death saving throws, you don’t die until your rage ends, and you die then only if you still have 0 hit points.
