Circle of the Wielder

Circle of the Wielder is a druid circle that allows druids that Wild Shape into Quadrupedal animals use Melee weapons that lack the two-handed property.

Martial Skill

Starting at 2nd level, you gain the ability to more effectively use a wide variety of weapons. You gain proficiency in Simple and Martial melee weapons that lack the Two-Handed property, and when you wild shape into a Quadrupedal animal you may use these weapons in place of the attacks of that animal.

Additional Spells

At certain levels of this subclass you gain spells that are not on the druid spell list. When you gain these spells from this feature, they count as druid spells for you, so you use your Wisdom modifier for Spell Attacks and Spell DCs, and they are always prepared, without counting against the number of prepared spells you can have.

At 3rd level, you gain the spell Magic Weapon.

At 5th level, you gain the spell Elemental weapon.

At 7th level, you gain the spell Staggering Smite.

at 9th level, you gain the spell Steel Wind Strike.

Extra Attack

Starting at 6th level, when you take the attack action on your turn, you may make two weapon attacks instead of one. This bonus also extends to when you are using a weapon while in Wild Shape.

Martial Spellcasting

Starting at 10th level, your weapon prowess while Wild Shaped extends into spellcasting as well. You gain the ability to cast spells that require a melee spell attack during your Wild Shape, using the weapon you wield as a spellcasting focus. You also gain access to some spells, listed below, that count as Druid spells for you.

Empowered Weapon

At 14th level, your mastery of manipulating weapons allows you to imbue your weapon attacks with energy. When you make a melee weapon attack with a weapon with which you are proficient and that lacks the two-handed property, you may add your wisdom modifier to the attack and damage rolls, along with strength or dexterity. You also gain this bonus when using a weapon in your Wild Shape.
