Monk
Base Class: Monk

A fighting style and philosophy that seeks more then direct solutions. This path tries to unravel what is beyond the surface.

Path of Revelation

When you choose this tradition at 3rd level, your special martial arts training leads you to know the true form of certain weapons. This path also includes instruction in revealing lies and mysteries.

True Form Weapons - Choose two types of weapons to be your true form weapons: one melee weapon and one ranged weapon. Each of these weapons can be any simple or martial weapon that lacks the heavy and special properties. The longbow is also a valid choice. You gain proficiency with these weapons if you don’t already have it. Weapons of the chosen types are monk weapons for you. When you reach 6th, 11th, and 17th level in this class, you can choose another type of weapon — either melee or ranged — to be a true form weapon for you, following the criteria above.

Blind Fighting - Being unable to see a creature within 15 feet doesn’t impose disadvantage on your attack rolls against it, provided the creature isn’t hidden from you .

Reveal Aspect - You can fuse your Ki with other people to get a glimpse in their subconsciousness. When you hit a creature with your flurry of blows you can choose 1 of the following effects. Once you use this feature on a creature, it is immune against it for the next week.

  • Sight: You see everything the creature perceives for the next 10 minutes or until you fuse your Ki with another creature.
  • Power: You know the most potent attack or spell (DMs choice) of the creature.
  • Vitality: You know the HP of the creature in 10HP increments (0-10, 20-30, etc.).
  • Anatomy: You know the AC and all resistances, immunities and weaknesses of that creature.

Way of the Truth - You gain expertise with insight and investigation.

Revealed Power of Ki

At 6th level, you gain the knowledge to extend your ki into your true form weapons and disperse it into your surroundings, granting you the following benefits:

Magic True Form Weapons. Your attacks with your true form weapons count as magical for the purpose of overcoming resistance and immunity to nonmagical attacks and damage.

Ki Burst. As an Action you can spend ki points up to your proficiency bonus to roll that many of your martial art die and deal the result plus your wisdom modifier as psychic damage to each creature of your choice within 20 feet of you. Each affected creature can make a Constitution Save to half the damage received.

True Form Weapon

When you reach 6th level in this class, you can choose another type of weapon — either melee or ranged — to be a true form weapon for you, following the criteria above.

Grasp Intentions

At 11th level you gain insight of the intend of creatures around you to defend yourself in combat. When you use the Attack action you gain +2 AC until the start of your turn.

True Form Weapon

When you reach 11th level in this class, you can choose another type of weapon — either melee or ranged — to be a true form weapon for you, following the criteria above.

True Strike

At 17th level, your mastery of insight grants you extraordinary accuracy. Once per turn, when you take the attack action you can forego one of the attacks to deal damage to a creature in range of your monk weapon equal to your monk level. This damage can't be reduced in any way.

True Form Weapon

When you reach 17th level in this class, you can choose another type of weapon — either melee or ranged — to be a true form weapon for you, following the criteria above.
