Fighter
Base Class: Fighter

A fusilier uses what they have learned from line infantry warfare on their enemies. From bayonet charges to volley drills, they train to hold the line of battle. Fusiliers are often from lower class households that were conscripted into service or volunteered themselves into the army. The most renowned fusiliers can often be an inspiration in a fight and dreadful sight for the enemy army. The elite fusiliers are often called foot guards.

Bayonet Charge

Starting at 3rd level, when you move 10 feet in a straight line towards a target and make a bayonet attack, you can deal additional damage equal to 5 + your fighter level.

Hold Steady

At 7th level, you can bolster your allies resolve. As a bonus action, you can grant up to six friendly creatures that can see or hear you within 60 feet advantage on saving throws for 1 minute.

Once you use this trait, you can’t use it again until you finish a short or long rest.

Marching Discipline

Starting at 7th level, you can push yourself to march further than normal. You have advantage on Constitution saving throws after a forced march.

Point Blank

Starting at 10th level, you are adept at fighting up close with your ranged weapons. Being within 5 feet of a hostile doesn’t impose disadvantage on your ranged attack rolls.

Additionally, when a hostile creature’s movement provokes an opportunity attack from you, you can use your reaction to shoot with a firearm.

Foot Guard’s Reputation

At 15th level, you are an inspiration to your allies and an intimidating enemy. While you are conscious, you radiate a 15-foot aura that provides a +2 bonus to attack rolls for allies and a -2 penalty on attack rolls for hostile creatures.

Unyielding Strength

At 18th level, you are hard to take down. If you take damage that reduces you to 0 hit points, you can use your reaction to instead drop to 1 hit point and attack the creature if it’s within range.

Once you use this feature, you can’t use it again until you finish a short or long rest.
