Wizard
Base Class: Wizard

A wizard subclass that focuses on antimagic. A specialization on the Abjuration school

Abjuration Savant

Beginning when you select this school at 2nd level, the gold and time you must spend to copy an abjuration spell into your spellbook is halved.

Arcane Sight

Starting at 2nd level, your dedicated study of shaping and disrupting magical energy has allowed you to study magical fields without the aid of a spell. You can cast Detect Magic at will, without expending a spell slot and without needing material components. The spell works as described in the spell's description, requiring an additional action to determine what school, if any, a magical effect belongs to.

Discern Magic

Beginning at 6th level, you gain the ability to determine the level, school, and effect of a spell before it is cast, including during an opponent's casting. You can only use this ability for one spell per round.

If an opponent is aware of this ability and can prepare for it, they can attempt a Intelligence (Deception) check contested by your Intelligence (Arcana or Insight). If they succeed, you are unable to determine what general effect the spell will have, though you can still determine the level and school.

In addition, you can spend 1 minute to cast Identify at will, without expending a spell slot and without needing any material components.

Improved Abjuration

Beginning at 10th level, when you cast an abjuration spell that requires you to make an ability check, you may add your proficiency bonus to that ability check.

Magic Resistance

Beginning at 14th level, you have advantage on saving throws from any magical effect. Furthermore, you have resistance to any damage that comes from a magical source.
