Fighter
Base Class: Fighter

Blood Knights are brutal warriors willing to risk it all to destroy their enemy. They inflict damage onto themselves to increase their power.

Blood Blade

Beginning at 3rd level you can create a magical +1 weapon made of your own blood. Sacrifice hp equal to half your level to create a piercing or slashing weapon made of your blood. It deals 1d8/1d10+STR as a versatile melee weapon. As a ranged weapon (that needs ammo) it deals the lesser damage with the inner range and the greater damage with the far range, unless you have the sharpshooter feat, then its always the greater damage. The weapon dissipates if it leaves your hand for 1 round or goes more than 10ft away from you.

level 7. 1d10/2d6
level 10. 2d6/2d8, Becomes a +2
level 15: 2d8/2d10
level 18. Becomes a +3

Necrotic Strike

Beginning at 3rd level, You deal an extra 1d4 necrotic damage when using your Blood Blade. Sacrificing an additional 3hp you can increase the damage of your Blood Blade by 1d4 necrotic for every 3hp given, this lasts until you hit or the end of your next turn, whichever comes first. Can only increase the number of dice a number of times equal to your CON mod.
At 10th level, Necrotic Strike goes from d4 to d6 and ignores resistance
At 15th level, Necrotic Strike goes from d6 to d8 and ignores immunity

Resistance to Necrotic damage

Resistance to Necrotic damage

Open Wounds

Starting at 7th level when you deal damage to a creature with the Blood Blade the target takes half the damage dealt by your Necrotic Strike

Give and Take

Starting at 7th level when you level up instead of adding Hit Die+CON for health, you can choose to lose your Hit Die in health; if you do this you choose one from the following:

Increase 1 stat by 1 and increase the maximum of that stat from 20 to 21, this can only be used 2 times on a stat and can't bring the maximum above 22

Your Necrotic Strike deals an extra 1 damage die.
((example: if you use Give and Take 3 times and are level 10(Necrotic strike d6) you deal 4d6 instead of 1d6))

Increase all saves by 1

Reapers Return

Starting at 10th level, When a creature dies within 30ft of you you can use your reaction to give the dead creature's blood form(AC14 hp5). This blood minion will protect you at all costs, at no action required the blood minion will interpose itself during a crit, weakening it to a normal hit, killing the minion. Or it absorbs into you, healing some of your wounds. You heal the number of Necrotic Strike dice you would normally roll. example; if you use Give and Take twice you deal 3d6 necrotic, thus you heal for 3d6(does not increase from Unyielding Fury). Can only have one Blood Minion up at a time.

Immune to poison and disease

At level 10 you become immune to poison and disease

Deadly Luck

Beginning at 10th level, you can sacrifice up to 5 HP to increase your Initiative, or saves, depending on the HP given. The amount of health you can sacrifice increases and grants benefits to others as you gain levels in Blood Knight.
At level 15, you can sacrifice 10hp and it also affects an ally within 10ft
At level 18, you can sacrifice 15hp and it affects you and all other allies within 10ft

Unyielding Fury

At 15th level when you drop below ¼ of your max HP you take half damage from all sources, excluding Psychic damage and your Necrotic Strike goes to d10. Damage you deal to yourself is not reduced

Necrotic Soak

At 15th level whenever you would take Necrotic damage you gain temp hp equal to half the damage you would take. (i.e. 1/4 the total damage)

Blood Boil

Starting at level 18 your blood has become extremely harmful to others. When you hit a creature with your Blood Blade they need to make a CON save or instead of dealing half damage at the start of the target’s turn they take the full necrotic damage from your Necrotic Strike. If they fail the save by more than 5 they take double the necrotic damage dealt. DC=8+proficiency+CON mod
